The invention is directed to an indicator (22) of the opening and/or closing status of a device controlling the flow of a fluid, such as a tap or a pressure reducer for compressed gas, comprising a sleeve-shaped support (24) to rotatably engage with a protruding portion (18) of a body of the device and from which an actuating spindle (20) extends along a longitudinal axis of said device; an indicator sleeve (26) axially sliding along the support (24); a rotor (28) to be fixed to the spindle (20) and comprising at its periphery a least one track (32) with a curved profile; and at least one track follower (30) extending radially from the indicator sleeve (26) through a longitudinal slot (242) in the support (24) and engaging with the at least one track (32).

The invention is directed to a cover (4) for a tap of a gas cylinder (6), comprising a shell (7, 8) for housing the tap; and a hook (12) pivotally mounted on the shell (8), configured for securing the gas cylinder (6) to a horizontal bar (28). The shell (8) comprises reservations (30) on its external surface configured for receiving the hook (12) in a folded position so as to generally conform to said external surface. The invention is also directed to a gas storage assembly comprising a gas cylinder (6), a tap and a cover (4).

The invention relates to a device for controlling the flow and/or pressure of a pressurized gas, and specifically to a tap for a pressurized-gas cylinder. The tap includes a body having a gas inlet, a gas outlet, and a passage connecting the inlet to the outlet. The tap also includes a valve for closing the passage, as well as a pressure indicator downstream from the closing valve. The pressure indicator is translatably operated and includes just two stable positions, i.e. one that corresponds to the presence of pressure, and the other to the absence of pressure.

The invention is directed to a method for improving the mechanical behavior of a metallic body (4) comprising an internal volume for a fluid and at least one threaded connecting port (6, 8) to said internal volume, the method comprising a step of treatment by autofrettage of the internal volume by applying a pressure to a liquid inside said volume. The autofrettage step comprises closing the internal volume by screwing a plug (28) to each the at least one threaded connecting port (8), so that the thread(s) of said port(s) is/are also subject to the autofrettage treatment. The invention is also directed to a body (4) resulting from such a treatment, with compressive stresses at the root of one of the most carrying turns of the thread of each of the connecting ports. The compressive stresses improve the fatigue behavior of the body.

The invention relates to an on-off valve with a pressure reducer intended to be connected to a gas cylinder. The objective of the invention is to ensure that the device is closed and put into service by way of simple and reliable means at high pressures. A shutter is controlled by a mobile part of the valve with pressure reducer, forming a low-pressure chamber of the device. The shutter is subjected to an elastic force in the closing direction. A working spring of the valve with pressure reducer acts on the mobile part in the opening direction. A rotary control member working over at least one turn makes it possible to compress the working spring into the position in which the valve with pressure reducer is put into service. In the closed position, a plate of pusher of the control member is remote from the working spring.

The invention is directed to a device (1) and a process for dissolving a gas into a liquid like carbonating a water based beverage, comprising a pump (4) for the liquid, a mixing venture nozzle (8) with a main inlet (10) fluidly connected to the pump (4), at least one side inlet (14) connectable to a source of pressurized gas (6), and an outlet. The device (1) comprises also a conical flow restrictor (24) fluidly downstream of the mixing venture nozzle (8), and a pipe (20) of a length of at least 0.5 m fluidly interconnected between the mixing venture nozzle (8) and the flow restrictor (24).

A valve for pressurized gas or chemical agent. The valve comprises: a body with: an inlet, an outlet, and a passage which connects the inlet with the outlet and which includes a seat]. The valve further comprises a sliding piston able to engage with the seat in order to close the passage and a telescopic extension sliding against the passage in order to guide the piston in the passage at least between the open position and the closed position. The pressure difference between opposite faces of the piston pulls away the piston and the telescopic extension from the seat in order to open the passage, the passage remaining closed under pressure equilibrium.
