Abstract:
A pressure regulating valve including a seal seat that defines an opening. A seat stem is moveable between a closed position in which the seat stem engages the seal seat and prevents fluid flow through the opening, and an open position in which the seat stem is spaced from the seal seat and permits fluid flow through the opening. A biasing element biases the seat stem in the closed position. A housing defines a passage that extends between an inlet and an outlet. The seal seat, seat stem and biasing element are positioned in the passage such that movement of the seat stem between the closed and open positions controls flow of the fluid between the inlet and outlet. The housing has an outer wall including a coupling mechanism for fixing the housing inside a channel of a primary regulator body.

Abstract:
The invention relates to an on-off valve with a pressure reducer intended to be connected to a gas cylinder. The objective of the invention is to ensure that the device is closed and put into service by way of simple and reliable means at high pressures. A shutter is controlled by a mobile part of the valve with pressure reducer, forming a low-pressure chamber of the device. The shutter is subjected to an elastic force in the closing direction. A working spring of the valve with pressure reducer acts on the mobile part in the opening direction. A rotary control member working over at least one turn makes it possible to compress the working spring into the position in which the valve with pressure reducer is put into service. In the closed position, a plate of pusher of the control member is remote from the working spring.

A pressurized gas containing system has a cowling and mounting ring which supports a valve and regulator on a cylinder containing gas under pressure.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a gas filling and distribution head (2) which is intended to be disposed in a hole in a pressurized gas storage tank. The inventive head (2) includes a mounting segment (21) which is intended to be housed in the hole in the tank and an expansion segment which houses a pre-expansion device (22), said pre-expansion device (22) being arranged in relation to the mounting segment (21) such as to be housed at least partially inside the tank when the head is in the mounted position. The head (2) also includes: a filling circuit which extends between a first end which is equipped with a filling hole (6) and a second end which is intended to communicate with the interior of the tank, and an extraction circuit which extends between a first end which is intended to communicate with the interior of the tank and a second end which is equipped with an extraction hole. The invention is characterized in that the filling hole (6) is aligned with the extraction hole.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a valve device including a built-in expansion valve and a flow selector. The valve function is provided by a blocker mounted so as to be inverted. The expansion valve is arranged laterally and communicates with a high-pressure chamber immediately downstream from the blocker and with a low-pressure chamber via a side passage. A device for mechanically controlling the blocker is provided in a chamber sealingly separated from the high-pressure chamber and from the low-pressure chamber. A flow selector in the form of a disc with a calibrated opening is provided in the low-pressure chamber, the disc engaging with a passage directly linked to the outlet of the device. The mechanical control device engages with a control pin of the disc.
Abstract:
A valve for controlling the flow of a pressurized fluid, in particular a medical or industrial gas, a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a internal fluid passage that connects them. A valve for controlling the fluid flow can prevent the circulation of a fluid in this passage, and an actuator utilizing a pivoting lever can be manually actuated by an operator. This lever pivots around a pivot point and can move between at least three stable, angularly staggered positions including a rest position where there is zero fluid flow in the internal fluid passage a intermediary released position where the fluid flow remains zero and an active position with fluid flowing thorough the internal fluid passage at a non-zero rate.
Abstract:
A regulator device includes a first valve member and a second valve member disposed within a housing of the device. The first valve member regulates the pressure of fluid exiting the device, and the second valve member is biased to a closed position and is opened by manipulation of an actuator. A sealing element is connected at the housing outlet and has a transverse cross-sectional dimension that decreases from an inlet of the sealing element to an outlet of the sealing element. In addition, a guard is provided that extends around a periphery of the actuator and includes a cut-out section to permit easy access to the actuator during use of the device.
Abstract:
A valve assembly, such as a tap for a liquefied gas cylinder, includes an overfill protection device and a liquid level gauge having an electrode assembly comprising a pair of lamellar electrodes mounted closely adjacent a housing member of the overfill protection device and deflectable into close proximity with a float of the overfill protection device for insertion into the gas cylinder. A circuit board is provided, preferably mounted on the electrode assembly, and has an electronic converter circuit for measuring the electrical capacitance between the electrodes and producing in response to the measured capacitance an output signal representative of the liquid level in the container. A display means is mounted on a body of the valve assembly or remote therefrom, to indicate the liquid level in the container in response to the output signal from the electronic converter circuit.
