    摘要: A method for fixing a full color toner image by inserting a transfer medium to which a toner image is transferred, between a pair of rolls of a fixing apparatus, and pressing the medium therebetween, wherein the toner image is formed of a full color toner prepared by dispersing a colorant into a polyester resin containing a diol component represented by the following general formula (I) as a constituent and having a softening point of 100.degree. to 120.degree. C., as measured by a ring and ball method, a glass transition temperature of 55.degree. C. or more, a Gardner color scale of 2 or less and a haze value of 15 or less, and the fixing operation is conducted while supplying a functional group-containing organopolysiloxane having a viscosity of 10 to 100,000 cs at 25.degree. C. to a roll in contact with the toner image, whereby the full color toner image can be stably fixed without wrapping of the transfer medium around the roll and offset, and the fixed image having good image quality can be obtained: ##STR1## wherein R represents an ethylene group or a propylene group, each of x and y is an integer of 1 or more, and x+y is 2 to 6.

    摘要: A magenta toner for developing electrostatic images provided which contains a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the colorant includes a mixed crystal of two or more colorants and when a solid patch is fixed on art paper complying with the ISO standard by using this toner, a resulting fixed image color satisfies at least one of the following formulae (b*) −7.94(a*)+591.85. The color difference ΔE between the color of the fixed image and the color characterized by L*: 46.6, a*: 75.1 and b*: −4.4 is preferably less than 6. The colorant is preferably a mixed crystal of a quinacridone colorant and a monoazo colorant. Moreover, the invention provides a method for producing the magenta toner, a developer containing the magenta toner, and an image-forming method using the magenta toner.

    摘要: A toner for developing an electrostatic image excellent in fixing property and particularly in light transmissibility and coloring property and satisfying high image quality and high reliability, and a process for producing the same, as well as a developer for an electrostatic image and a process for forming an image are provided. The toner for developing an electrostatic image contains at least a resin component and colorant particles, and the colorant particles exhibit a dispersion state inside the toner observed by a transmission electron microscope. The dispersion state satisfies two conditions, where (1) the colorant particles have a dispersion average particle diameter of 100 nm or less, and (2) the colorant particles have a content of coarse particles of a diameter of 400 nm or more 5% by number or less of the total of the colorant particles.
