    摘要: A connector has a housing, an insertion slot into which a connection target is inserted, an actuator and a contact. The actuator has a pusher. The actuator is held on the housing so as to be turnable between an open position and a close position. The actuator allows the connection target to be inserted into the insertion slot when the actuator is positioned at the open position. The pusher pushes the inserted connection target when the actuator is positioned at the close position. The contact is held by the housing. The contact includes a spring section and a supported section supported by the spring section. The supported section includes a press section and a contacting section. The press section presses the pusher against the inserted connection target and receives, from the pusher, a reaction force directed away from the connection target when the actuator is located at the close position. The contacting section is brought into contact with the connection target when the press section is moved away from the connection target by the reaction force.

Upper contacts are inserted into a housing from rearward, and held thereby. Lower contacts are inserted into the housing from forward, and held thereby. A contact portion of each upper contact is located on a front side of the housing, for contact with an upper surface of a circuit card inserted into a receiving space of the housing. A terminal portion of the upper contact is located on a rear side of the housing, for connection to a motherboard. A contact portion of each lower contact is located on the front side of the housing, for contact with a lower surface of the circuit card inserted into the receiving space of the housing. A terminal portion of the lower contact is located on the rear side of the housing, for connection to the motherboard.

    摘要: In a connector including a conductive member adapted to be connected to a connection object, the conductive member includes a movable contacting portion to be contacted with the connection object and a position control portion integrally formed with the contacting portion and serving to control a position of the contacting portion. The contact may includes a main body integrally formed with the contacting portion and an elastic portion coupling the position control portion to the main body so that the position control portion is displaceable with respect to the main body. The main body may be integrally formed with the position control portion. The elastic portion may couple the contacting portion to the main body so that the contacting portion is displaceable with respect to the main body.

    摘要: In a connector, a contact group has a signal contact and a ground contact, and the signal contact is arranged adjacently to both sides of the ground contact. Each of the signal contact and the ground contact has a contact portion connected to a partner side contact and also has a terminal portion connected to a connecting object. The pitch intervals between the terminal portions of the respective contacts of the contact group are equally set. The contact portion of the signal contact approaches the contact portion of the ground contact. Thus, the pitch interval between the contact portions of the adjacent signal contacts is widened with respect to the pitch interval between the terminal portions.

    摘要: In a shielded-cable connector (10) for use in connecting a mating connector with a shielded cable (13), a metal plate (22) is used to face a side surface of the shielded cable. A positioning portion (27) is engaged with an insulating inner sheath (15) of the shielded cable. Thus, a predetermined positional relationship is given between the metal plate and a core wire (14) of the shielded cable. The core wire is connected to a contact (11) held by an insulator housing (21). The contact has a contacting portion (18) to be connected to the mating connector and a cable connecting portion 19 to be connected to the core wire.

    摘要: In an electrical connector which has a first insulator (1a), a first contact (7) supported by the first insulator, a second insulator (2a) faced to the first insulator in a first direction, and a second contact (2a) supported by the second insulator, the second insulator has a side wall defining a groove (9) extending along the first insulator to have a first and a second part arranged in a second direction (A2) perpendicular to the first direction. The first contact has a first contacting portion (7a) inserted into the first part and carried towards the second part by relative movement between the first and the second insulators in the second direction. The second contact has a second contacting portion (8a) being of a flat shape, placed in the second part, and supported by the side wall. The second contacting portion extends in a direction approximate to the second direction. When carried to the second part of the groove, the first contacting portion is brought into contact with the second contacting portion with an elastic force in a third direction (A3) perpendicular to the first and the second directions.
