    摘要: A multimedia broadcast system and method supporting peer-to-peer (P2P) coordinated code conversion are provided. The method includes forming, by a data source device, one or more data segments from multimedia data, and then scattering the data segments to a P2P network formed by the viewers; wherein an individual P2P device is connected with one or more P2P devices via a network system to form a partner group, and then acquires code conversion degrees of each data segment to serve as a basis for strategically adjusting the coordinated code conversion of said multimedia data. The coordinated code conversion mechanism is supported by common P2P multimedia broadcast systems, and is capable of rapidly converting the multimedia data in one format into multimedia data in other different media formats, thereby enabling real-time broadcasting of data in different formats to clients using P2P networks of various specifications.

    摘要: The present invention provides an apparatus for mapping pipeline for use in a fluid pipeline, comprising: a pressure gauge that measures the pressure of the fluid in the fluid pipeline; a gyroscope that measures the angular velocity of the apparatus for mapping pipeline in the fluid pipeline; a processing module that collects and converts the pressure of the fluid and the angular velocity to a pressure data and an angular velocity data, respectively; and a data output module that outputs the pressure data and the angular velocity data. The present invention also provides a method for mapping pipeline and a system using the same that obtain the spatial layout of the fluid pipeline by analyzing the pressure data and the angular velocity data.

    摘要: An operation method and a radio device for controlling a power switch of a radio based on moving speed. The radio device includes a speed estimator and an operator. The speed estimator is used for estimating the moving speed of the radio device, and the operator is used for comparing the moving speed of the radio device with a speed threshold value so as to turn on/off the power switch of the radio device. The power switch of the radio device can be controlled based on the moving speed so as to decrease the time the radio device stays on, thus reducing the power consumption of the radio device.

    摘要: A multi-path data dissemination method for a magnetic diffusion wireless network and a system thereof overcome environmental interferences in wireless data transmissions. Each node of the network is provided for figuring out its good neighbors by broadcasting a good-neighbor exploratory message in a bootstrap process. Each node keeps a good-neighbor table containing nodes with a RSSI higher than a threshold of the good-neighbor table. A magnetic field of a magnetic diffusion (MD) dissemination method capable of determining a data dissemination path is created according to the good-neighbor tables to ensure that the data can be forwarded to a data sink successfully.

    摘要: An indoor localization method is implemented using an indoor localization system that includes beacons deployed in an indoor space and transmitting localization signals, and a radio badge for receiving the localization signals. The indoor localization method includes forming signal vectors from the localization signals received by the radio badge at each of predetermined locations in the indoor space, and generating a signal ID value from the signal vectors for each beacon from which the radio badge has received the localization signals. During a tracking phase, signal vectors are formed from the localization signals received by the radio badge at a current location. If the number of the signal ID values is smaller than the number of the signal vectors, the sum of the signal distances is normalized by the number of the signal ID values. An estimated position of the radio badge is obtained using the signal vectors and the signal ID values.
