    Abstract: A securing apparatus includes a housing, a cam member, and a movable device that can be moved in a first direction to engage a first surface of the cam member to cause the cam member to move from a first position to a second position. When the cam member is in the first position, first and second movable members can be moved relative to the housing. When the cam member is in the second position, second and third surfaces of the cam member press respectively against the first and second movable members to trap the first and second movable members respectively between the second and third surfaces of the cam member and the housing such that the first and second movable members are fixed relative to the housing.

    Abstract: This document provides fluid handling components. For example, this document relates to taper interface connections such as, but not limited to, luer taper interface connections used to couple fluid handling components in a medical or laboratory setting. In some embodiments, the threaded connection on the male portion of the taper interface is comprised of one or two opposing tabs, rather than a 360° collar like conventional luer lock fittings. As such, the taper interface components provided herein are readily manufacturable with a lower cost than conventional fittings that have a collar. In some embodiments, the taper interface components provided herein are configured for coupling by way of a quick connection technique.

    Abstract: A chamber assembly for testing a valve includes a proximal chamber portion that defines a proximal interior space, and a distal chamber portion that defines a distal interior space. The distal interior space includes a gas space. When a liquid is inserted into the proximal and distal chambers there is an interface between the liquid and a gas in the gas space. A valve holder is disposed adjacent to the proximal interior space and the distal interior space. The valve holder is configured to receive the valve in a bore of the valve holder. A shortest distance between a center of the valve when in the bore and the interface is at least about 45 mm.

    Abstract: An apparatus includes a lamination stack for a motor stator. The lamination stack comprises a plurality of conductive laminates. The laminates are coupled to each other in a stacking direction along a stacking axis. Each laminate comprises a base, a plurality of fins extending from a first side of the base, a plurality of spacings between the fins, a row of teeth extending from a second side of the base opposite the first side, each tooth constructed and arranged to communicate with windings of a conductive coil, and a plurality of spacings between the teeth. The lamination stack also comprises a plurality of first channels formed from the spacings between the fins and a plurality of second channels formed from the spacings between the teeth. The first and second channels extend along the stacking axis.
