Abstract: A system described herein may provide a technique for selectively adding or forgoing adding shortcut links to a node map using contraction hierarchy techniques based on turn costs. “Useful” turn pairs for a given path through a shortcut link may include a turn into a first node of the shortcut link and a turn out of a second node of the shortcut link, where no alternative lower cost paths (including such “useful” turn pairs) from the first node to the second node are available. The useful turn pairs for a shortcut link may be used to evaluate super shortcut links that includes the shortcut link with identified useful turn pairs. For example, a search for alternative lower cost paths may need not be performed for paths, associated with the super shortcut link, which do not include a turn from the useful turn pairs of the component shortcut link.

Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments for injecting sidecar proxy capabilities into non-sidecar applications, allowing such non-sidecar applications to communicate with a service mesh architecture. In an embodiment, a method comprises receiving a request to instantiate a proxy for a non-sidecar application at a service mesh gateway (SMG). The SMG then instantiates the proxy in response to the request and broadcasts network information of the non-sidecar application to a mesh controller deployed in a containerized environment. Finally, the SMG (via the proxy) transmits data over a control plane that is communicatively coupled to the mesh controller.

Abstract: A device may receive a video and corresponding camera information associated with a camera that captured the video, and may select an object in the video and a wire model for the object. The device may adjust an orientation, location, or size of the wire model to align the wire model on the object in a frame of the video, based on the corresponding camera information and to generate an adjusted wire model. The device may identify the object in another frame of the video, and may align the adjusted wire model on the object in the other frame. The device may interpolate the adjusted wire model for the object for intermediate frames of the video between the first and other frames, and may generate three-dimensional annotations for the video based on the adjusted wire models. The device may train a machine learning model based on the three-dimensional annotations.

Abstract: A device may receive video data and corresponding GPS data and IMU data associated with a vehicle, and may remove video frames from the video data to generate modified video data. The device may select objects and image regions of video frames of the modified video data, and may determine a current speed and a current turn angle of the vehicle based on the GPS data, the IMU data, and the modified video data. The device may mask the objects of the video frames of the modified video data to learn first features, and may mask the image regions of the video frames of the modified video data to learn second features. The device may generate a trained neural network model based on the current speed, the current turn angle, the first features, and the second features, and may implement the trained neural network model in the vehicle.

Abstract: A device may receive road facing camera (RFC) video data, driver facing camera (DFC) video data, and idling events data associated with a vehicle, and may receive traffic data associated with the vehicle. The device may determine that an idling event of the idling events data is an idling event trigger, and may process the idling event and the DFC video data, based on the idling event being an idling event trigger and with a first machine learning model, to determine a behavior of a driver of the vehicle. The device may process the behavior of the driver, the RFC video data, and the traffic data, with a second machine learning model, to determine a score for the idling event, and may determine a classification for the idling event based on the score and a score threshold. The device may perform one or more actions based on the classification.
