The networks can include a fabric of interconnected network nodes capable of providing multiple communication paths among edge devices. A topology manager constructs communication topologies according to restriction criteria based on required security levels (e.g., top secret, secret, unclassified, etc.). Established topologies do not have overlapping networking infrastructure to within the bounds of the restriction criteria as allowed by the security levels.

摘要: A telecommunications system includes: a user equipment (UE); an access network (AN); and a core network (CN) composed of CN elements. A CN element comprises a set of UE route selection policy (URSP) rules, wherein each URSP rule comprises at least the following parameters: precedence value of URSP rule, a traffic descriptor, and at least a route selection descriptor containing a destination for matching traffic. The UE comprises one or more local resources which comprise: a local device or location in the UE, either physical or logical; and/or a local network address in the UE. A CN element is configured to instruct the UE with one or more URSP rules to route traffic matching the traffic descriptor to the destination local resource, local device, location or local network address in the UE. The UE is configured to direct the matching traffic to the destination in the URSP rule.

摘要: A data confidence fabric that is network topology aware is disclosed. When data is able to be transmitted over one of multiple communication channels, confidence information related to the transmission of the data over a selected communication channel is associated with the data. Events, such as failover, are also reflected in the confidence information and confidence score of the data. The confidence information and/or confidence scores allow applications to determine how to trust data in a manner that accounts for the transmission path.

摘要: A quality of service management system includes a rules engine that receives information associated with a communication path having an assigned quality of service (QoS) to be provided for a customer communication device, and identifies one or more network elements assigned to provide the communication path. Each network element having a plurality of queues configured to provide varying QoS levels relative to one another. For each of the network elements, the rules engine determines at least one queue that is configured to provide the communication path at the assigned quality of service, and transmits queue information associated with the determined queue to its respective network element, the network element conveying the communication path through the determined queue.

摘要: The technology of this application relates to a communication method and apparatus. The communication method includes a data sending device obtaining to-be-sent data of a locally installed first application, where a destination address of the to-be-sent data is an address of a data receiving device. The data sending device determines an address or addresses of one or more network adapters of the data receiving device based on the address of the data receiving device, the data sending device encapsulates the to-be-sent data based on the network adapter address to obtain encapsulated data, and the data sending device sends the encapsulated data to the data receiving device through a plurality of links. A destination address of each link is one of network adapter addresses of the data receiving device, and a source address of each link is one of network adapter addresses of the data sending device.

In an example, a network device includes memory configured to store information associated with one or more service level agreements (SLAs) for applications in a software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) and an application-based multipath routing (AMR) module including processing circuitry. The AMR module is configured to identify, based on criteria, one or more of the applications for AMR, wherein each criterion of the criteria is associated with a corresponding property of an application. The AMR module is configured to determine a breach of one of the SLAs on each WAN link associated with a first application of the identified one or more applications. The AMR module is configured to apply, in response to determining the breach, AMR for the first application.

摘要: One aspect provides a system and method for selecting a path for a data flow in a network. During operation, a first node receiving the data flow can determine flow information that specifies a destination node. The system estimates a Quality of Experience (QoE) value of each node based on the flow information and current operating status of each node. A management service generates a QoE topology of the network based on connectivity among the nodes and the QoE value associated with each node; determines a plurality of potential paths between the first node and the destination node, with each potential path comprising a plurality of intermediate nodes; and selects a path that provides best QoE performance based on the QoE topology. Selecting the path comprises computing a cumulative QoE value of each potential path based on QoE values of the intermediate nodes included in the potential path.

摘要: A solution for route selection includes receiving, by a network repository, from a first network function (NF), a query related to a target NF; querying, by the network repository, a route selection node for a shortest path to the target NF; receiving, by the network repository, from the route selection node, an indication of the shortest path to the target NF; and based on at least receiving the indication of the shortest path to the target NF, transmitting, by the network repository, to the first NF, a route to the target NF. In some examples, the shortest path has at least one of: a minimum number of hops, a minimum latency, a minimum jitter, and a minimum weighted transport score. In some examples, the route selection node is co-located with the network repository, which may be a network repository function (NRF).
