Abstract:
An automatic teller machine (ATM) may temporarily stack paper mediums in a carriage, adjust an advancing direction of the carriage by rotating the carriage by a rotor, and dispense the paper mediums to one of a plurality of dispenser portions by the carriage moving along movement paths. In addition, since a discharge path for paper medium being discharged from a rejected medium transfer portion to a collected medium storage portion and a discharge path for paper medium being discharged from the carriage to the collected medium storage portion are formed in a common discharge space, paper mediums detected to be abnormal and rejected and paper mediums not received by the dispenser portions but retracted may be stored in one place. Consequently, the structure may be simplified.
Abstract:
Provided are a paper media transfer device and an automatic teller machine having the same. The paper media transfer device may include: a medium guide portion being provided on one side of a transfer direction of the paper media, and including a guide surface having at least one high point and at least one low point along the transfer direction of the paper media; and a medium transfer portion forming a transfer path of the paper media together with the medium guide portion to transfer the paper media, and including a belt member that is curved in correspondence to the guide surface, and a belt roller that drives the belt member and maintains the curved shape of the belt member, or adds a tension to the belt. Through this, it is possible to improve a tightening force.
Abstract:
Provided is a cash transaction machine including a temporary stack portion. The cash transaction machine includes: a carriage receiving a paper medium stacked in the temporary stack portion; a driving belt transferring the carriage to a medium outlet; a pressing belt pressing the paper medium being transferred by the carriage in interoperation with the driving belt; a plurality of guide rollers being provided along a travel path of the carriage to define a travel path of the driving belt and a travel path of the pressing belt; and a one-way clutch adjusting an interoperating state between the driving belt and the pressing belt to prevent a friction from occurring between the pressing belt and the paper medium while the paper medium is being loaded to the carriage.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an automatic transaction machine and method of rejecting a paper medium in the automatic transaction machine. The automatic transaction machine includes a medium storage portion; a first medium transfer module transferring a paper medium in a sheet unit from the medium storage portion; a temporary stack portion provided adjacent to an outlet of the first medium transfer module, stacking the paper medium, and having a vertically movable supporter; a second medium transfer module for transferring, to a medium outlet, the paper medium transmitted from the supporter having been upwardly moved; and a rejection portion positioned below the supporter, and including a rejection inlet vertically movable together with the supporter.

Abstract:
A cash transaction machine includes a storage for storing paper media, a first transfer element transferring the paper media sheet by sheet from the storage, a temporary stack part located at an end portion of the first transfer element in order to stack the transferred paper media and vertically transfer a stack of the paper media, a second transfer element including an upper transfer part and a lower transfer part for transferring the stack of paper media, a rejecting element including a moving cover sliding right and left in an entry space provided at the lower transfer part, and a withdrawal extension part formed corresponding to the end portion structures of the second transfer element and the rejecting element and installed at the end portion to provide an extension path connected to the transfer path. Also, the end portion structure of the second transfer element may be identical with the end portion structure of the withdrawal extension part, thereby simply installing the withdrawal extension part at the front or the rear surfaces of the withdrawal apparatus.
