Abstract:
A small generator with collective multiple magnetic poles includes a magnet, multiple magnetic poles arranged in an annular shape and facing to the magnet, an annular iron core having its outer circumference combined with the multiple magnetic poles spaced apart and equidistantly. The iron core forms magnetic circuits for the magnetic poles so as to let magnetic lines of force to pass through. A sheet-shaped coil is combined on each magnetic pole so that when the magnet is rotated around the iron core with the magnetic poles, the sheet-shaped coil may generate alternate electric current. The sheet-shaped coils are quickly made by mechanical process, with magnetic wires requited for the coils reduced a lot.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a method for applying a certificate suitable for a portable telephone belonging to a user, wherein the portable telephone comprises a telephone number. The method comprises steps of generating a user key pair in the portable telephone, wherein the key pair comprises a user public key information and then transmitting an applying packet from the portable telephone to a certificate authority through a switching center by using a short message service, wherein the applying packet comprises at least the user public key information. The user is verified according to the telephone number received by the certificate authority from the switching center. A certificate packet is generated by the certificate authority, wherein the certificate packet comprises at least a serial number and a certificate authority signature. The certificate packet is transmitted to the portable telephone according to the telephone number by using the short message service.
Abstract:
A novel method for forming electrodes in the fabrication of an MIM (metal-insulator-metal) capacitor, is disclosed. The method improves MIM capacitor performance by preventing plasma-induced damage to a dielectric layer during deposition of a top electrode on the dielectric layer, as well as by reducing or preventing the formation of an interfacial layer between the dielectric layer and the electrode or electrodes, in fabrication of the MIM capacitor. The method typically includes the patterning of crown-type capacitor openings in a substrate; depositing a bottom electrode in each of the crown openings; subjecting the bottom electrode to a rapid thermal processing (RTP) or furnace anneal step; depositing a dielectric layer on the annealed bottom electrode; depositing a top electrode on the dielectric layer using a plasma-free CVD (chemical vapor deposition) or ALD (atomic layer deposition) process; and patterning the top electrode of each MIM capacitor.
Abstract:
Described is a light-directing feature formed in the inter-level dielectric (ILD) layer in combination with an anti-reflective (AR) layer to effectively and simultaneously increase quantum efficiency and cross-talk immunity thereby improving photonic performances of photo-sensitive integrated circuits. A plurality of photosensor cells is formed on a semiconductor substrate. An AR layer is subsequently formed on the plurality of photosensor cells, the AR layer being substantially non-reflective of incident light. An ILD layer is then formed over the AR layer, the ILD layer comprising a plurality of light-directing features formed in openings in the ILD layer over the AR layer above and about certain of the plurality of photosensor cells.
Abstract:
An atomic layer deposition method for forming a microelectronic layer employs a reactor chamber pressure of greater than about 500 mtorr and more preferably from about 20 to about 50 torr. By employing a reactor chamber pressure within the foregoing range, the microelectronic layer is formed with an enhanced deposition rate while employing the atomic layer deposition method, due to a gas phase chemical vapor deposition component to the atomic layer deposition method.
Abstract:
A small generator with collective multiple magnetic poles includes a magnet member, multiple magnetic poles arranged in an annular shape and facing to the magnet member, a iron core having its circumference connected with the multiple magnetic poles as integral, and multiple sheet-shaped coils respectively fitted on the magnetic poles. When the magnet member is rotated around the magnetic poles, the coils may generate electric current.
Abstract:
An electronic device moldable to form a leadless electronic package and a method of forming the electronic device are provided. The electronic device comprises a die pad adapted for attachment of a die and a frame surrounding the die pad. A plurality of leads extend from the frame towards the die pad such that each lead has a bonding site on a top surface thereof configured for attachment of a bonding wire. The said leads include a first set of leads having bonding sites located substantially on a first plane and a second set of leads having bonding sites located substantially on a second plane that is parallel to but spaced from the first plane.
Abstract:
A method for previewing an image in a camera prior to output. The method includes steps of gathering image data, storing the image data, calculating display parameters using the stored image data, storing the display parameters in a look-up table; and applying the display parameters in the look-up table to at least a portion of the image data to produce preview image data. The display parameters can be quickly calculated using a digital signal processor to achieve real-time image previewing. The parameters used in an embodiment camera are vertical down sampling (51) white balance and gain control (52), horizontal up/down sampling (53), and color space conversion and gamma correction (55). The resulting preview processed image may be stored in memory via an interface (56) and viewed via a preview display. Once calculated using a preview algorithm run on a digital signal processor, these parameters can be combined in one or more look-up tables that can be updated by the digital signal processor as imaging conditions demand.
Abstract:
A support structure for a car safety seat for installation on an extensible and retractable stroller includes a front frame, a rear frame, a handle grip and a support frame. The support structure includes a first and a second support member mounted on the support frame for supporting the weight of a car safety seat. The first support member is stationary. The second support member has two ends engaged respectively with first and second rotary disks which are turnable about the same axis and which maintain a fixed distance with the first support member. By turning the second support member, the relative distance between the first and second support member may change thereby to support car safety seats of different sizes.
