    摘要: The present invention provides a thin optical disc drive for three different media BD, DVD, and CD for notebook personal computers and an optical pickup to be mounted thereon.An optical pickup includes a first laser light source which emits an optical beam with a first wavelength; a second laser light source which emits an optical beam with a second wavelength shorter than the first wavelength; a first collimate lens which converts the optical beam emitted from the first laser light source into an approximately-parallel optical beam; a second collimate lens which converts the optical beam emitted from the second laser light source into an approximately-parallel optical beam; a first objective lens which converges the approximately-parallel optical beam converted by the first collimate lens, onto an optical disc; and a second objective lens which converges the approximately-parallel optical beam converted by the second collimate lens, onto an optical disc; whereinthe first and second objective lenses are arranged in the optical disc radial direction; the second objective lens is arranged closer to the side of the optical disc outer circumference than the first objective lens; the first collimate lens is arranged on the right-hand side when the second objective lens is viewed from the first objective lens; the second collimate lens is arranged on the left-hand side when the first objective lens is viewed from the second objective lens; and the gap between the first collimate lens and the first objective lens is larger than the gap between the second collimate lens and the second objective lens.

    摘要: An optical pickup equipped with a laser light source which emits light beams of at least three wavelengths for recording/reproducing a plurality of information recording media detects light quantities of the light beams of three wavelengths using one light intensity monitor element. More specifically, one light intensity monitor element is arranged between a first laser light source and a second laser light source, light beams of wavelength λ1 and wavelength λ2 emitted from the first laser light source are made to proceed substantially straightforward, the optical path of the light beam of wavelength λ3 emitted from the second laser light source is changed to a diagonal one so as to cause the light beam to be introduced diagonally to the light receiving surface of the one light intensity monitor element. Furthermore, the central axis line of the light receiving surface of the one light intensity monitor element is separated from the emitted light axis of the first laser light source and a reflecting member is provided above the emitting light axis of the second laser light source.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body in which an image forming section that forms an image on a recording material and a drive mechanism that generates a rotational driving force are provided; a fixing section that transports the recording material while receiving the rotational driving force and fixes the image on the recording material, the fixing section being held by the apparatus body at two axial ends thereof; and a transmission mechanism that is provided at one of the two axial ends of the fixing section and is connected to the drive mechanism, the transmission mechanism transmitting the rotational driving force from the drive mechanism to the fixing section. When a pulling force is applied to a recording material that is present in the fixing section, the drive mechanism and the transmission mechanism are disconnected from each other.

    摘要: A medium pressurizing device includes: two rotating bodies that rotate and allow a recording medium held in a contact part to pass; a pressurizing member that applies, to one of the rotating bodies, a pressure of pressing the one toward the other; a drive roll disposed downstream from the contact part in a conveyance direction, and rotating thereby transmitting a conveyance driving force to the recording medium; and a following roll contacting the drive roll, and rotating by following rotation of the drive roll, thereby conveying the recording medium held therebetween. The device further includes: an axis member rotating by receiving a driving force; and a cam member fixed to the axis member, acting on the pressurizing member, and following rotation of the axis member, thereby changing the pressure. The following roll has a hollow, and the axis member is disposed to pass through a space in the hollow.
