Abstract: A base station is configured to transmit wake-up signals to a user equipment to wake-up the UE to receive a page from the base station. The base station transmits one or more synchronization signals, wherein the synchronization signals correspond to a wake-up signal (WUS) that is to be transmitted to a user equipment (UE) operating in a paging discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle, wherein the paging DRX cycle includes a paging occasion (PO) and transmits the WUS to the UE during a WUS occasion, wherein the WUS indicates whether the UE is to utilize an active mode or a sleep mode during the PO.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured to enter a radio resource control (RRC) CONNECTED state on a first network using a first subscriber identification module (SIM) and an RRC INACTIVE or RRC IDLE state on a second network using a second SIM, transmit, to the first network, a request for a scheduling gap (SG) configuration, wherein, during a duration of the SG, the first network avoids scheduling resources for the UE, receive, from the first network, an indication of the SG configuration to be used, during the duration of the SG, tune away from the first network to perform operations on the second network and after the duration of the SG, tune back to the first network, wherein the RRC CONNECTED state is maintained on the first network during the duration of the SG.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to discontinuous reception (DRX) transmission. Embodiments of the present disclosure propose a solution for DRX configurations for point-to-point (PTP) and/or point-to-multipoint (PTM) transmissions. In this solution, a user equipment (UE) maintains separate DRX configurations for PTP transmissions and PTM transmissions. During active time for the PTP transmissions, the UE monitors physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) with a UE specific identifier. The UE monitors PDCCH with a PTM transmission specific identifier during active time for the PTM transmissions. In this way, it can match the MBS service quality mechanism. Moreover, it also saves power at the UE.

Abstract: The exemplary embodiments relate to a computer-readable storage medium, a device, an integrated circuit and a method that perform operations related to a first user equipment (UE) configured with a sidelink (SL) connection with a second UE. The operations include generating an SL counter check request including at least a first count for data transmissions from the first UE to the second UE as determined by the first UE. The operations further include transmitting the request to the second UE and receiving a counter check response to the request, the response comprising at least a second count for data transmissions from the first UE to the second UE as determined by the second UE. The operations further include determining a first difference between the first count and the second count and, when the first difference exceeds a threshold, releasing the SL connection with the second UE.

Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing sidelink communications among multiple user equipments (UEs). A UE operates according to a periodical discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle that includes a sidelink on-duration period when the UE is in an active state. The UE is in a power saving state outside the sidelink on-duration period. The UE listens to a Physical Sidelink Control Channel (PSCCH) for sidelink communications during the active state. A UE determines the DRX cycle and the sidelink on-duration period of a receiver UE, and sends a message to the receiver UE during one or more slots of the sidelink on-duration period when the receiver UE is in the active state.

Abstract: An approach to reduce the signaling overhead for tracking reference signal (TRS) configuration signaling to idle and inactive user equipments (UEs) operating in a wireless communication system. Conventional signaling approaches require more bits that can be conveyed in the maximum system information block (SIB) message size. One proposed approach optimizes the signaling by removing unnecessary or redundant information, using a single TRS configuration to replace multiple configurations, size reduction in some fields, and the sharing of some fields across different TRS configurations. Another proposed approach uses an SIB message to carry the TRS configurations for a particular beam or subset of beams. These two proposed approaches may be combined to provide further optimization possibilities.
