    摘要: A reduction gear transmission capable of realizing a large reduction ratio while preventing both an increase in its diameter and a decrease in the diameter of its through hole, including: a motor gear; an intermediate shaft; a first and second gear; an input shaft; and an external and internal gear. The first and second gears are fixed to the intermediate shaft. The first gear meshes with the motor gear. The input shaft causes an eccentric rotation member to rotate eccentrically with the rotation of the input gear, which meshes with the second gear. The external gear engages the eccentric rotation member, revolving orbitally around an axis line of the input shaft. The internal gear meshes with the external gear, each having a different number of teeth. The motor gear and first gear mesh at a position offset from a straight line formed by connecting an axis line of the intermediate shaft and of the input shaft.

    摘要: A chimney has a lower portion substantially in the shape of a pyramid and an upper portion forming a cylindrical portion that extends with a predetermined dimension upwardly and is provided in a ceiling portion of a building of a coil yard that is used for temporary storage of the hot-rolled coil which is an intermediate iron and steel product acting as a high-temperature heat radiator that is manufactured using the hot-rolling equipment of an iron and steel mill. A power generating turbine is provided at a predetermined position in the cylindrical portion. An intake duct is provided on a lower end portion of the side walls of the building. Hot-rolled coils that are in a high-temperature condition after manufacture are successively imported into the coil yard and accumulated and stored until transfer to a subsequent processing step. An ascending airflow is generated by sequential heating of air introduced into the building from the intake duct using heat retained in the hot-rolled coils. The power generating turbines are rotated by the ascending airflow passing through the cylindrical portion of the chimney to thereby execute wind power generation. As a result, the heat retained in the high-temperature heat radiator manufactured by introduction of heat can be efficiently used.

    摘要: To give vibration to molten metal in a melt pool to enhance solidification efficiency of the molten metal. Substantially directly above meniscus 14 between molten metal 5 in a melt pool 4 and each of rolls, an AC electromagnet 15 is arranged over the entire length of said meniscus 14 so that magnetic flux runs substantially perpendicular to a surface of the molten metal. Above the AC electromagnet 15, a DC electromagnet 16 is arranged over the entire length of the AC electromagnet 15 so that magnetic flux runs substantially perpendicular to the surface of the molten metal. Under application of DC magnetic field by means of the DC electromagnet 16, an AC magnetic field is applied near the meniscus 14 between the molten metal 5 in the melt pool 4 and each of the rolls 1 and 2. As a result, induction current is generated in the molten metal 5 and high frequency vibration is applied to the molten metal 5 by Lorentz's force due to interaction between the induction current and the DC magnetic field.

The arrangement allows the ladle to easily supply the molten metal to the tundish and ensures easy maintenance of the tundish.
