The present invention discloses a pixel unit and a method for manufacturing the same, a display panel, and a display apparatus. A pixel unit comprises a first electrode, a pixel defining layer, a light emitting layer and a second electrode, wherein the second electrode comprises a first portion and a second portion; the pixel defining layer defines a pixel region, the light emitting layer and the first portion of the second electrode are disposed successively within the pixel region, and an upper surface of the first portion of the second electrode is substantially in same plane with an upper surface of the pixel defining layer; and, the second portion of the second electrode is positioned over the first portion and is connected with a second electrode of an adjacent pixel unit. With the technical solutions of the present invention, phenomenon including fractures, abscissions, bubbles and the like due to existence of difference in height in the pixel region will be eliminated, averting adverse influence resulting in failures of the display apparatus.

The display panel includes: an opening area; a display area surrounding the opening area; at least one isolation ring, wherein at least a part of the at least one isolation ring is located between the display area and the opening area, and the at least one isolation ring surrounds the opening area; and a drainage structure extending from a sidewall of an isolation ring in the at least one isolation ring along a straight line passing through a center of the isolation ring.

A display panel producing frame-free image displays is provided. The display panel includes a display substrate (1) and an optical device (2) in a light illuminating side of the display substrate (1). The display substrate (1) includes frame edge regions (11) and a display region (12) abutting the frame edge regions (11). The display substrate (1) is curved at the frame edge regions (11). The optical device (2) is above the display region (12) and the frame edge regions (11), and changes a direction of light illuminated by the display substrate (1) such that images displayed through the display region produce a frame-free display.

The present disclosure relates to a field of display device and provides a flexible display panel, a method of preparing the same and a flexible display device. The flexible display panel includes: at least two sub-flexible display panels, each two adjacent sub-flexible display panels being connected together through a folding mechanism therebetween, the flexible display panel further including a flexible light guide structure that at least covers the folding mechanism, the flexible light guide structure being configured to emit a portion of light emitted from each sub-flexible display panel out of a portion of the flexible light guide structure that corresponds to the folding mechanism.

A pixel definition structure, an organic light-emitting device and the encapsulation method thereof, and a display apparatus are provided, in the field of display technology. The pixel definition structure includes a plurality of barriers, wherein the plurality of barriers includes a first barrier and a second barrier. The height of the first barrier is smaller than that of the second barrier, and a barrier at a first edge area of the pixel definition structure is the first barrier. The present disclosure can solve the problem of the poor encapsulation effect and improve the encapsulation effect. The present disclosure is applied to an organic light-emitting device.
