摘要: The invention concerns a valve arrangement for controlling a hydraulic drive, the supply and the outflow of the hydraulic drive being separately controllable. It is endeavoured to improve the valve arrangement in such a manner that it is intrinsically tight, at the same time having a relatively simple design. For this purpose, a pump pipe and a tank pipe are connected with a first control valve, the first control valve being connected by separate pipes with a second control valve and a third control valve connected in parallel with the second control valve, the second control valve being connected with a first working connection of the hydraulic drive and the third control valve being connected with a second working connection of the hydraulic drive, backflow preventers for preventing the flow from the hydraulic drive in the direction of the tank being connected in parallel with the second control valve and/or the third control valve.

摘要: We add discontinuous regions of Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) to a biodegradable scaffold. Hereby it is possible to combine the range of physical properties the scaffold can offer with the reconstructive properties of the ECM. The optimal amount of discrete ECM material for each application is disclosed and this concentration is equally distributed in the dressing hence avoiding unnecessary high concentrations of ECM. In addition to the effect of the ECM, the porous structure of the base material provides the cells with a structure for in-growth.

摘要: The invention relates to a foam dressing with a bevelled edge and where the density at the edge is higher than the density at the central part of the foam. The high density at the edges causes gel blocking of the wound exudate thereby preventing leakage of exudate through the edges. In a preferred embodiment the foam dressing is non-adhesive. The foam dressing may have a water-impervious backing layer, which extends all the way over the top of the dressing and down to the wound-contacting surface. The wound dressing is particularly useful in treatment of venous ulcers in connection with compression bandages, as the bevelling of the edges markedly reduces the indentations in the leg following use of this dressing when compared to a dressing with straight edges.

摘要: A valve assembly (2) forming a bridge circuit and a hydraulic actuator comprising at least one valve assembly (2) are disclosed. The valve assembly (2) is fluidly connectable between a fluid source (3) and a fluid drain (4). The valve assembly (2) comprises a first valve (8) fluidly connected between the fluid source (3) and a first diagonal point (12) of the bridge circuit, a second valve (9) fluidly connected between the fluid source (3) and a second diagonal point (13) of the bridge circuit, a third valve (10) fluidly connected between the first diagonal point (12) and the fluid drain (4), and a fourth valve (11) fluidly connected between the second diagonal point (13) and the fluid drain (4). The valves (8, 9, 10, 11) are such that in the case of a power cut off, flows of fluid away from the diagonal points (12, 13) are prevented. Thereby a hydraulic servomotor (5) connected across the diagonal points (12, 13) will be hydraulically locked in its instantaneous position, and a safety feature is accordingly provided. The first valve (8) and the second valve (9) are furthermore of a kind which is closed in an energized state. Thereby it is possible to control the valve assembly (2) in such a manner that a piston member (14) of a servomotor (5) connected across the diagonal points (12, 13) can be moved at a high velocity, thereby providing a servomotor (5) having a quick response time.

摘要: A hydraulic actuator for a hydraulic servomotor (4) is disclosed. The hydraulic servomotor (4) is of a kind having at least one defined end position, and has a first chamber (5) and a second chamber (6) associated therewith. The actuator is connected to a fluid source (2) and a fluid drain (3). The actuator comprises a first valve (7) fluidly connected between the fluid source (2) and the first chamber (5), a second valve (8) fluidly connected between the first chamber (5) and the fluid drain (3), and a third valve (9) fluidly connected between the fluid source (2) and the second chamber (6). The actuator further comprises a flow channel (10, 17), preferably comprising a flow restrictor (12, 18), in fluid communication with the second chamber (6).The valves (7, 8, 9) are such that, in the case of a power cut off, they will prevent a fluid flow out of the first chamber (5), and a fluid flow out of the second chamber (6) takes place via the flow channel (10, 17). This will cause a servomotor piston member (13) to move towards the second chamber (6), thereby moving the hydraulic servomotor (4) to an end position.

摘要: A suction system for removal of exudate from a wound comprises a wound cover which is attachable to a wound circumference of a living being thereby to form an enclosure, and a pump in fluid communication with the enclosure to provide a pressure difference between a negative pressure in the enclosure and an air pressure of an ambient space. A deflectable member is arranged such with respect to the enclosure that the pressure difference may cause deflection of the deflectable member, and a pressure sensing device is located outside the enclosure and arranged to provide a signal in response to the pressure or the deflection of the deflectable member. The deflectable member forms an essentially air tight barrier between the sensor and the enclosure.
