An electrical connector (100) includes an insulating housing (30), a plurality of terminals (32) received in the insulating housing, an L-shaped metal shield (10), a base portion (20) and an ejector (40). The metal shield covers the insulating housing for defining a card receiving space. The base portion comprises a guide rail (21) and a cam plate (22) integral with the guide rail. A pair of arms (not labeled) extends upwardly from the cam plate to define a receiving channel (225) and the receiving channel defines a heart-shaped slot (220) at a front end thereof. The ejector is received in the receiving channel of the base portion and comprises a slider piece (41), a pin member (42) and a resilient element (43). The slider piece is being moveable to drive the pin member to move in the heart-shaped slot.

The insulating housing has a body portion (31) and first and second assembling boards (301, 302) formed at two ends of the body portion. The first assembling board defines a first retaining hole (35) and the second assembling board defines a second retaining hole (37). The base includes a guiding portion (21), an extending portion (22) at a front part of the guiding portion and a protruding portion (23) bending laterally from a distal end of the extending portion. The metal shield forms a first fastening element (15) received in the first retaining hole. The second connector includes a second insulating housing (22) located under the first insulating housing, a plurality of second terminals (24) receiving in the second insulating housing for engagement with the second card which is received in a second receiving space defined by the second connector. The metal shield includes a base (11), a pair of sidewalls (12) and at least one elastic piece (110) extending along a card insertion direction. The sidewalls define openings (121) receiving the blocks of the sidewalls and form at least one retention portion (120). The base forms a baffle (13) at a rear edge thereof. The PCB is attached with the lower face of the insulating housing and electrically connected with the terminals. Both the retention portion and the baffle press against a lower surface of the PCB and the elastic piece extends into the cavity by a horizontal movement of the metal shield relative to the insulating housing and the PCB.
