Abstract:
A method to determine the presence or absence of Streptococcus Group A antigen in a sample, comprising the following steps: extracting the antigen from the sample in an assay chamber with two or less extraction reagents, wherein the two reagents may be added to the assay chamber in no particular sequence; introducing a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay device into the extraction reagents containing the extracted antigen without further addition of reagents or manipulation of the sample; forming an antigen-indicator labeling reagent complex; and determining the presence or absence of the antigen in the sample by the presence or absence of a signal formed by the binding of the antigen-indicator labeling reagent complex to an indicator capture reagent specific for said antigen-indicator labeling reagent complex.
Abstract:
A purchase method with price negotiation is used for facilitating a real-time purchase transaction in a system providing a user with real-time price inquiry and price negotiation, which examines a consumer identity, a purchase record, a purchase quantity, a product category and so on and accordingly provides various recommended prices and purchase ways through a computer program and a database to facilitate a purchase transaction. According to the method, when a product has been selected, a user may choose one of a plurality of price negotiation modes (based on quantity, bundle, credit or direct quote) and initiate the price negotiation. Thereafter, the user may decide to complete or abandon the deal, and the price record is collected and saved in the database, serving as an immediate price for next purchase or as a future offer to the customer when the cost is met.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay device without a plastic housing. The assay includes a sample receiving region, analyte detection region and end region all made of porous material and capable of lateral flow. The analyte detection region includes labeling reagents, a capture reagent and a control reagent. The back of the porous material is laminated with a semi-rigid material with adequate mechanical strength. The top is partially covered with a thin plastic material so as to leave a portion of the sample receiving region exposed for sample application.
