In at least one embodiment, the process includes conditioning a reservoir of interest, then initially producing fluids and particulate solids such as sand to increase reservoir access (“slurry production”). The initial production may generate high permeability channels or wormholes in the formation, which may be used for heavy oil production processes (“hydrocarbon production”) such as cold flow (CHOPS) or enhanced production processes such as SAGD, or VAPEX.

摘要： A machine operator or service person is alerted to the excessive wear condition of friction discs in friction couplings or brakes of construction machinery by being provided with a visual indication of wear of the friction discs in one embodiment, a wear indicating pin element is shifted axially by a brake piston and the position of the end of the pin element is visible through a window in a brake housing, thereby providing a visual indication of the wear condition of the friction disc. In a second embodiment of the invention the excessive wear condition of the friction discs is revealed by a signal light which is activated by a pressure switch responding to the pressure of the fluid delivered to a brake cylinder when the brake piston moves a predetermined distance in application of the brake.

A second pusher mechanism is advanceable within the guide channel to engage the workpiece and to advance the workpiece to the workstation. The apparatus has particular application in the manufacture of curved surgical needles.

摘要： A fluid flow control valve for a fixture having a conduit for the passage of a fluid through the fixture comprises a valve rod that is manually slideable through a hole in the fixture to intercept the conduit at right angles. The rod has a plurality of various apertures through the diameter, each alignable with the conduit and sealed of by an O-ring around the rod to prevent leakage along the rod. 摘要： A window structure for closing an opening in an upright wall of a cab structure composed of upper and lower glass panels having adjoining horizontal edges. A horizontal hinge connects the upper edge of the upper panel to the cab structure so that the upper panel can swing inwardly to an upper horizontal position just under the roof of the cab. The lower panel may be mounted in the lower portion of the opening or on the rear face of the upper panel and when in the latter position, upper and lower panels may be swung upwardly against the roof of the cab and latched in this position. A gas-pressurized cylinder is used between the cab structure and the upper panel to aid in both raising the panels and to restrain the panels as they are lowered.

摘要： The method of locking a shaft within a bearing so that they are concentrically positioned against rotational and axial relative movement, and an apparatus for practicing such method comprising a complete assembly such as a pillow block bearing which includes an axial extension on the inner race ring of the bearing of a lesser outside diameter than the outside diameter of the main body portion of such inner race ring, with slots spaced equally around the circumference of such extension cut axially inwardly from the outer edge to provide multiple segments therein. A continuous circular collar positioned over the extension includes two threadably mounted set screws spaced apart within an arc substantially 30.degree. to 60.degree. on the continuous circular collar, and in such position of the collar on the extension each set screw is over a segment and the segments are separated by an extension slot. The set screws are tightened in the collar so that each impinges on a corresponding portion of the segmented extension to move such portion into locking engagement with a shaft within the inner race ring. Coincidentally the continuous collar pulls the remaining portion of the segmented extension into engagement with the shaft on the opposite side to that wherein the set screws are positioned.
