    Abstract: A base station antenna includes: a reflector; a first radiator located at the front side of the reflector; an ground conductor located at the rear side of the reflector, the ground conductor forming a chamber with an opening forward; and a first stripline conductor mounted in the chamber configured to feed the first radiator, the first stripline conductor extending in a plane substantially parallel to the reflector; where the reflector and the ground conductor are configured such that the opening is capped by the reflector, and the reflector is grounded via the ground conductor, so that the first stripline conductor and the ground conductor and the reflector are configured as a first strip transmission line.

    Abstract: A base station antenna that may include radiating elements having tilted dipoles. For example, a base station antenna may include a reflector and a plurality of radiating elements, each radiating element mounted on the front surface of the reflector and having a support stalk and at least one dipole mounted to the support stalk. The radiating elements include a plurality of first radiating elements configured to operate in a first operating frequency band, and arranged in one or more first columns extending along a first direction; and a plurality of second radiating elements, configured to operate in a second operating frequency band different from the first operating frequency band, and arranged in one or more second columns extending along the first direction. At least one dipole of a first of the second radiating elements in at least one of the second columns is tilted around the first direction.

    Abstract: A multi-band antenna includes a reflector, and a plurality of first radiating elements on the reflector. The plurality of first radiating elements are configured to radiate a first antenna beam(s) in a first frequency band responsive to at least one feed signal. A passive radiation-filtering element is provided, which extends proximate the first antenna beam(s). The passive radiation-filtering element includes at least one of a low-pass LC circuit, a band-pass LC circuit, and a high-pass LC circuit therein, which is configured to provide a lower frequency-dependent impedance to radiation within the first frequency band relative to radiation at frequencies outside the first frequency band. The passive radiation-filtering element may be configured as a multi-segment fence having capacitive and inductive elements therein, which are electrically coupled in series.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a base station antenna. The base station antenna comprises: a reflector that is configured to provide a ground plane; a first radiating element array including at least one first cross-polarized radiating element that is arranged on the reflector; and a first parasitic element array including first through third parasitic element pairs, wherein each of the first through third parasitic element pairs includes a pair of parasitic elements that are arranged substantially symmetrically on both sides of the first longitudinal axis, and distances from the first through third parasitic element pairs respectively to the first longitudinal axis increase sequentially, wherein projections of any two of the first parasitic element pair, the second parasitic element pair, the third parasitic element pair, and the at least one first cross-polarized radiating element on the first longitudinal axis at least partly overlap.
