    摘要： A device and method is provided wherein a non-extendable strap is attached to the interior of an athletic, or other type of shoe, commencing on the instep side, extending below the user's foot, and ankle, which has been previously fitted with a commercial brace or wrap or taped, which is inserted within the shoe, and the strap is attached within the shoe again on the outstep upper side. The strap element is drawn tight about the user's ankle when the shoe is laced, strapped, or otherwise secured about the user's foot. The strap element extends above the user's ankle, and is pulled taut and affixed to the brace, or wrap, or separately taped, at a position on the outside of the user's lower leg. The device and method of attachment allows the shoe and brace or wrap to act together, as an integrated system, to limit active ankle inversion.

    摘要： A program for rewarding players for gaming at a casino establishment provides a player with real-time incentives while the player is playing at a gaming machine in the casino. Information about the player and/or the player's gaming activity is collected while the player is at a gaming machine in a casino. This information is used by a marketing system to select an incentive to provide to the player. The incentive is then delivered to the player, for example manually by a casino employee or automatically using a printer or other mechanism at the gaming machine. Various types of incentives can be provided to a player, including incentives designed to provide the player with an experience that is favorable to the casino and incentives designed to keep the player gaming in a casino for a longer amount of time.

    摘要： A correlation receiver, among other functions, detects peaks of a correlation signal. The correlation receiver includes a master peak detector for determining whether an amplitude of a pulse of the correlation signal exceeds by at least a first delta an amplitude of a prior peak. If so, the master peak detector designates the pulse as a peak and sets an amplitude of the peak as the amplitude of the prior peak increased by a second delta. The master peak detector may also determine whether the amplitude of the correlation signal pulse falls below an amplitude of the prior peak less a droop value; and, if so, the master peak detector does not designate the pulse as a peak.
