摘要： An electrode array is used for the thermal schlerosing of body tissue. The electrode array has at least three active electrodes that, during use, are placed in electrical-conducting connection with body tissue. A high frequency generator is electrically connected for selective application of current to the active electrodes for producing a high frequency voltage. A measuring device measures impedance of the tissue between the active electrodes. In addition, a selector device selects a sub-array including at least two active electrodes from the electrode array, the selecting being effected on the basis of the measured impedance. Further, a control device is configured such that a high frequency voltage is respectively applied between the active electrodes of the selected sub-array in such a way that a high frequency current flows between the selected active electrodes through the body tissue.

摘要： The disclosure provides a probe arrangement having a distal probe tip and a proximal hand portion for the electrothermal coagulation of tissue. The probe arrangement has at least a first and a second electrode in the region of the distal probe tip. An inner conductor of the probe arrangement extends from the distal probe tip to the proximal hand portion and contacts the first electrode in the distal probe tip. An outer conductor of the probe arrangement extends from the distal probe tip to the proximal hand portion and serves to electrically contact the second electrode in the distal probe tip. The inner and outer conductors of the probe arrangement are electrically insulated from each other. Furthermore the inner conductor is selected in such a way that the flexural stiffness of the probe arrangement is increased between the probe tip and the hand portion.

摘要： The invention concerns a high frequency current application apparatus for the thermal sclerosing of body tissue, comprising a high frequency generator to which there are connected at least two electrodes of which at least one electrode is to be introduced into body tissue, and a measuring and calculating device which is adapted to ascertain the impedance or the ohmic resistance between the two electrodes between which a respective therapeutic high frequency current flows, and a control device connected to the measuring and calculating device for varying the output power. During a high frequency current application the measuring and calculating device forms the first derivative from the characteristic in respect of time of the impedance or ohmic resistance. The control device significantly reduces the output power when that derivative in respect of time exceeds a positive threshold which is characteristic of a threat of tissue desiccation and restores the output power to the original power again when the first derivative exceeds in the direction of positive values a negative threshold which is characteristic of adequate rehydration of the body tissue.

摘要： To adjust a brush roller to the current operating conditions, a brush attachment to hold the brush roller and drive mechanism is realized in the form of an upper part and a separate inner part. The inner part is thereby mounted in the upper part so that the inner part can pivot by means of an axle, and the brush roller is pressed against the surface to be cleaned by means of a spring element.
