摘要: An organic light emitting diode display includes a substrate, a display unit that includes a common power line and a common electrode, an encapsulation substrate that is attached to the substrate by an adhering layer enclosing the display unit and includes a resin matrix and a plurality of carbon fiber. The display includes a first conductive portion and a second conductive portion. The first conductive portion is on a first inner surface region, a first side surface region, and a first outer surface region of the encapsulation substrate. The first conductive portion is adapted to supply a first electrical signal to the common power line. The second conductive portion is on a second inner surface region, a second side surface region, and a second outer surface region of the encapsulation substrate. The second conductive portion is adapted to supply a second electrical signal to the common electrode.

摘要: A display device includes: a plurality of pixels; an image data compensator for outputting compensated image data by controlling peak luminance of image data; and a data driver for transmitting the compensated image data to the plurality of pixels, wherein the image data compensator is configured to control luminance of the image data by using a global image load of an image in its entirety, a plurality of first local image loads of a plurality of the first partitions generated by dividing the image by a first unit area, and a plurality of second local image loads of a plurality of second partitions generated by dividing the image by a second unit area. Power consumption of the display device can be reduced, and image quality is improved by improving peak luminance and contrast of the display image.

摘要: An organic light emitting display capable of compensating for threshold voltage variations of a driving transistor may include scan and data drivers, pixels, an initial power source unit, a switching unit, a compensating unit, and a timing controller. The scan and data drivers may control current that flows from a first to a second power source via an OLED. The switching unit may selectively couple the initial power source unit to the data driver. The compensating unit may store second data corresponding to a threshold voltage of a driving transistor and may transmit the stored second data to the data driver. The timing controller may transmit the externally supplied first data input to the data driver and may control the scan driver, the data driver, and the compensating unit. The data driver may generate and supply third data signals to the pixels using the first and the second data.

摘要: An organic light emitting display that can stably extract information from pixels. A driving method of the organic light emitting display includes: generating first digital values by sensing deterioration information of organic light emitting diodes respectively included in a plurality of pixels coupled to a data line during two or more continuous frame periods; storing the first digital values in a memory; generating second digital values by sensing threshold voltage and mobility information of driving transistors respectively included in the pixels during two or more continuous frame periods; storing the second digital values in the memory; converting input data into calibration data according to the information stored in the memory to display an image having a uniform brightness, irrespective of the deterioration information of the organic light emitting diodes and the threshold voltage and mobility information of the driving transistors; and supplying a data signal in accordance with the calibration data to the data line.

摘要: An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display comprises: a substrate; a display formed on the substrate and including a common power line and a common electrode; a junction layer provided outside the display on the substrate; and a sealing substrate fixed to the substrate by the junction layer. The sealing substrate includes: a support film; a first metal layer provided on one side of the support film toward the substrate; a plurality of second metal layers provided on the first metal layer and being conductive with the first metal layer; and a third metal layer provided on the first metal layer and being insulated from the first metal layer. The second metal layers supply a first electric signal to the common power line, and the third metal layer supplies a second electric signal to the common electrode. A method of manufacturing such an OLED display is also disclosed.

摘要: An organic light emitting display (OLED) apparatus has an improved structure so as to decrease a capacitance load between a power line and a control signal line. The OLED display apparatus includes a first substrate on which a thin film transistor (TFT) and an organic light emitting diode are disposed; a second substrate facing towards and spaced apart from the first substrate; a power line via which a voltage is applied to the source and drain electrodes of the TFT, and to the second electrode of the OLED; and a control signal line providing a control signal to the embedded circuit so as to control timing for supplying current to the gate electrode of the TFT. The control signal line is laid-out at an outer portion of the first substrate with respect to a position of the power line.
