Abstract:
Provided are a frame transmission method performed in an access point (AP), a frame reception method performed in a terminal, and an AP. The frame transmission method performed in an AP includes acquiring a channel for transmitting a first data unit of a first terminal, when a data unit to be transmitted to at least one terminal other than the first terminal is in the AP, generating a physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) including the first data unit and the data unit to be transmitted to the at least one terminal, and transmitting the PPDU to the first terminal and the at least one terminal. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the performance of a wireless local area network (WLAN).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a discovery method of neighbor node in a wireless local area network (LAN). The discovery method includes performing a scanning procedure, performing an authentication procedure with a first terminal detected through the scanning procedure, performing an association procedure with the first terminal in which the authentication procedure has been performed, acquiring, from the first terminal, a scanning result of a scanning procedure having been performed in the first terminal, and generating a first AP list based on a scanning result of a scanning procedure having been performed in the first AP and the scanning result of the scanning procedure having been performed in the first terminal Therefore, interference problems between neighbor access points (APs) may be solve.
Abstract:
An apparatus for grouping a plurality of stations in a multi-transmission environment includes an SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) measuring unit configured to measure SNR values of the stations existing in the multi-transmission environment. Further, the apparatus includes a grouping unit configured to group the stations into several subgroups depending on the SNR values, wherein a leader is defined in each subgroup. Furthermore, the apparatus includes a control unit configured to determine an MCS (Modulation and Coding Scheme) intended for each subgroup and form different A-MPDU (Aggregated MAC Protocol Data Unit) for each subgroup separately to send to each subgroup in a multicast transmission.
