Abstract:
A method for operating a station in a wireless LAN is disclosed. An OFDMA-based communication method comprises the steps of: receiving, from an access point, a first frame including time resource information and frequency resource information indicating a resource occupied for an OFDMA-based communication; and receiving, from the access point, a data frame through the resource indicated by the time resource information and frequency resource information. Therefore, performance of the wireless LAN system can be improved.
Abstract:
An apparatus for controlling a near field wireless network, includes a wireless network controller included in a management plane of a wireless access point and configured to observe wireless physical layer/media access controller layer (PHY/MAC) protocols and perform a management procedure on wired MAC/PHY protocols within the wireless access point. Further, the apparatus includes a wireless network central management unit included in a management plane of a switch and configured to perform a management procedure on the wired MAC/PHY protocols within the switch.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for estimating maximum allowable power in a frequency sharing system. A method for performing an available spectrum inquiry according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise: determining an allowable power level for the second device based on whether there is an overlap between an exclusion area for the second device or at least one of the one or more protection area contours and a location uncertainty area of a first device; and transmitting a message for an available spectrum inquiry response including information on the determined allowable power level. Herein, the second device supporting another service whose frequency is shared with a specific service based on location-related information of the first device may be selected.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for initial negotiation in a wireless LAN. An operating method of a station in a communication system comprises the steps of: generating a probe request frame including WUR capability information of the station which supports a WUR mode; transmitting the probe request frame; and receiving a probe response frame from an access point having received the probe request frame. Therefore, the performance of the communication system can be improved.
Abstract:
Provided is a frame transmission method and apparatus for controlling a one-way delay, the apparatus determining channel access delay between a reaching time at which at pre previous transmission frame reaches a head of a transmission queue and a transmission time at which the previous transmission frame it actually transmitted, and transmitting a current frame in a transmission mode determined by estimating a probability related to the transmission mode based on the channel access delay.
Abstract:
A method for a partial interference alignment in a multi-antenna communication system includes, checking the number of access points (APs) operating at the same channel or adjacent channel; and calculating LIPs (Leakage Interference Power) that the respective APs have an effect on each base-station (STA). Further, the method includes choosing the upper three AP-STA pairs having the highest LIP in order as a candidate group for interference alignment; and performing a partial interference alignment on the candidate group for interference alignment.
Abstract:
Provided is a method and apparatus for determining an operating condition for frequency coexistence and an operating condition determining method includes a method of calculating and transferring an inference-free available frequency and an output level to an existing radio station that operates and needs to be protected or a method of calculating a channel access parameter for sharing a frequency with a heterogeneous device, a network, or a system.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for operating a communication node supporting a low power mode in a wireless LAN. A method for operating a station, which includes a PCR and a WURx, comprises the steps of: allowing the WURx, which operates in a wake-up state, to receive a wake-up packet from an access point; transitioning an operating state of the PCR from a sleep state to the wake-up state when the wake-up packet is received; allowing the PCR, which operates in the wake-up state, to receive a data frame from an access point; and allowing the PCR to transmit, to the access point, a response to the data frame.
Abstract:
Provided are a frame transmission method performed in an access point (AP), a frame reception method performed in a terminal, and an AP. The frame transmission method performed in an AP includes acquiring a channel for transmitting a first data unit of a first terminal, when a data unit to be transmitted to at least one terminal other than the first terminal is in the AP, generating a physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) including the first data unit and the data unit to be transmitted to the at least one terminal, and transmitting the PPDU to the first terminal and the at least one terminal. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the performance of a wireless local area network (WLAN).
Abstract:
A method and a device for searching for an access point in a wireless LAN are disclosed. An operating method of a station comprising a PCR and a WUR comprises the steps of: allowing the WUR operating in a wake up state to receive a WUR beacon frame from an access point; shifting an operating state of the PCR from a sleep state to the wake up state, when the WUR beacon frame is received; and allowing the PCR operating in the wake up state to communicate with the access point. Therefore, the performance of a communication system can be improved.
