摘要: A method of connecting two high voltage DC cables in a flexible cable joint. Each high voltage DC cable can include, from the inside to the outside, a central conductor, an adjacent circumferential cable inner semicon layer, an adjacent circumferential cable insulation layer, and an adjacent circumferential cable outer semicon layer. The method includes: connecting the conductors of the two cables in a cable joint; providing adjacent to the conductors a circumferential joint inner semicon layer connecting the cable inner semicon layers of the two cables; providing at least one circumferential and contiguous layer of field grading material connecting the cable outer semicon layer with the joint inner semicon layer and covering the cable insulation layer of the corresponding cable; providing a circumferential joint insulation layer around the layer of field grading material, and where appropriate around the joint inner semicon layer; and providing a circumferential joint outer semicon layer connecting the cable outer semicon layers of the two cables.

摘要: The bushing has an electrical conductor (1) to which high voltage can be applied. One section of the electrical conductor (1) is surrounded by a varistor arrangement (9). The bushing also contains two electrical connections (4, 6), one (6) of which can be connected to high voltage and the other (4) can be connected to ground, a bushing insulator (5) provided between the electrical conductor (1) and the varistor arrangement (9), and a clamping apparatus (11) which applies a contact force to the electrical connections (4, 6) and to the varistor arrangement (9) located in between them like a sandwich. The clamping apparatus has an insulating part which applies the contact force to the two electrical connections. The bushing insulator is in the form of a molding and has a supporting element, provided with a guide surface, for a contact (1a) (which is connected to the electrical conductor (1)) in a plug connection to a cable or to an apparatus bushing of an electrical apparatus.

摘要: The subject matter of the present invention is a method and a device for capacitive liquid level measurement which are particularly suitable for determining liquid level between adhesive media 10, 11 of different conductivity. The known sensor principle is based on the fact that the environmentally dependent capacitance is measured between neighboring electrodes 13, 4; 4, 5; 5, 6 of a rod-shaped probe 1. According to the invention, the probe 1 has electrodes 4, 5, 6, 13 with covers 7 of different thicknesses d.sub.i. The effective thickness d.sub.s /.epsilon..sub.s of an insulating pollutant film 14 can then be determined by capacitance measurements between at least two pairs of electrodes 4, 5, 6, 13. The influence of a conductive pollutant film 14 on the capacitance signal can be eliminated by selection of at least one suitable measuring frequency. Furthermore, by optimizing the electrode height h, a large capacitance jump is achieved for a digital liquid level display, and/or a largely continuous increase in capacitance is achieved for an analog liquid level display. The sensor is preferably used to determine the location of an interface 12 between water 10 and oil 11 in a separator tank.

摘要: The subject matter of the present invention is the optimization of a capacitive liquid level sensor which is suitable, in particular, for determining the location of a boundary layer 12 between water 10 and oil 11 in a separator tank. The known sensor principle is based on measuring the environmentally dependent capacitance between neighboring electrodes 13, 4; 4, 5; 5, 6 of a rod-shaped probe 1. According to the invention, the probe 1 is designed such that large ionic double-layer capacitors occur on the electrodes 4, 5, 6, 13 in the more conductive medium 10, and small capacitors occur between electrodes 4, 5, 6, 13 in the insulating medium 11. For this purpose, the electrode height h is selected to be large, the ratio of the electrode height h to the electrode spacing a is preferably selected to be in the range of 1
