    摘要: By bending and stretching a link mechanism, both left and right wheels of a vehicle can be inclined toward inside of cornering to generate a camber thrust as a lateral force, i.e. an increase in cornering force. Further, by bending and stretching the link mechanism, the passenger compartment can be inclined in accordance with inclination of a connecting link, and thus the center of gravity of the vehicle can be moved toward its inner wheel during cornering. By preventing lifting of the inner wheel during cornering, cornering performance is improved. Because the passenger compartment is inclined toward the inner wheel during cornering, centrifugal force is less likely to be felt by the occupant.

    摘要: An airbag apparatus receives an occupant's left breast by an expanded left airbag section and receives the right breast by a right airbag section. A void space of the expanded airbag opposes the lateral center of the occupant's breast. Both the left and right airbag sections expand smoothly and substantially evenly. The left and right airbag sections are folded firstly to obtain a first folded body elongated in the fore-and-aft direction and, subsequently, the distal sides from a joint belt, which connect the midsections in the expanding direction of the left and right airbag sections, are opened laterally apart from each other. The rear sides from the joint belt are folded so as to be reduced in width in the fore-and aft direction to obtain the second folded body, and then the lateral width is reduced by the third folding operation to obtain the final folded body.

    摘要: An airbag device is provided in which the airbag device is made by folding an airbag having a left airbag section and a right airbag section with a new folding method. An airbag includes a left airbag section and a right airbag section that are inflated on the left and right, respectively, in front of a passenger, and a base chamber that communicates base ends of the airbag sections with each other. When the airbag is folded, first, the left airbag section and the right airbag section are primarily folded so as to have a reduced vertical width, thereby forming primary folded bodies that are elongated in forward and rearward directions. Then, the primary folded bodies are folded so as to have a reduced longitudinal width, thereby forming a secondary folded body. Thereafter, the base chamber is flattened and the secondary bodies are placed on the base chamber. At this time, a rear end of the base chamber is pulled out rearwardly and overlapped with the lateral faces of the secondary bodies opposite to the passenger.

    摘要: An airbag and an airbag device are provided that include a left airbag section and a right airbag section which sufficiently absorbs shock when they receive an occupant. In one form, an airbag includes a left airbag section which is inflated at the left front side of an occupant, a right airbag section which is inflated at the right front side of the occupant, and a base-end chamber connecting one end of the left airbag section and one end of the right airbag section to each other. When the inflation of the airbag is completed, a connecting member connecting the left airbag section and the right airbag section is disposed at a height P, which is below a mid-point M of the left airbag section and the right airbag section in a vertical direction. When the airbag is in an inflated state, a vertical peripheral length of a left side of the left airbag section is shorter than a vertical peripheral length of a left outside panel adjacent the center of a vehicle body.

    摘要: An airbag and an airbag apparatus are provided which can absorb an impact to be applied to an occupant sufficiently. An airbag includes a right airbag section to be inflated at the right side ahead of the occupant, a left airbag section to be inflated at the left side ahead of the occupant, and a rear chamber communicating between the base ends of the right airbag section and the left airbag section. In a state in which the airbag is inflated, an extending member such as a tie panel does not exist between the tip portions of the right airbag section and the left airbag section, and a space formed between the tip portions of the bags opens toward the occupant. The left airbag section has a larger capacity having a larger lateral width in the inflated state.

    摘要: A motor capable of suppressing the torque ripple includes a rotor, a stator and stator coils. The rotor is provided with a plurality of permanent magnets which are arranged at a constant pitch in the circumferential direction. The stator surrounds the rotor and is formed with a plurality of stator poles and a slot located between every two stator poles. The stator coils are wound on the stator and are supplied with three-phase sinusoidal current. The rotor is composed of a plurality of rotor portions which are arranged in the axial direction of the rotor. The difference between the open angle of each permanent magnet of one rotor portion and the open angle of each permanent magnet of another rotor portion is an integral multiple of 30.degree. in electrical angle. When three-phase sinusoidal current is applied to the stator coils, a torque ripple is generated. However, the phase of a torque ripple generated at one of the rotor portions arranged in the axial direction can be made different from the phase(s) of torque ripple(s) generated at other rotor portion(s).
