    RESOLUTION MEANS
    The present invention is an airbag device stored in a vehicle seat, the airbag device including: an inflator for generating expansion gas; and an airbag for deploying from near an upper end of the vehicle seat to protect the periphery of the head of an occupant. Furthermore, the airbag includes: a first chamber for protecting one side of an occupant; a second chamber connected to the first chamber and for protecting the front of the occupant's head; a third chamber connected to the second chamber and for deploying from the front of the occupant's head across to the other side of the occupant; and a fourth chamber connected to the third chamber and for deploying at the other side of the occupant.

    摘要: A knee airbag includes a front panel, rear panel coupled to the front panel to define an inflation chamber, and an intermediate panel between the front panel and the rear panel and within the inflation chamber. The intermediate panel is connected to the front panel and the rear panel at various locations between a proximal end and a distal end of the intermediate panel to control an inflated configuration of the knee airbag. First and second suspension portions suspend the proximal end of the intermediate panel between the front panel and the rear panel and are permeable to the passage of inflation gases. The first suspension portion extends between the front panel and the proximal end of the intermediate panel. The second suspension portion extends between the rear panel and the proximal end of the intermediate panel. An inflator for inflating the knee airbag is disposed in the inflation chamber at a proximal end of the knee airbag. An inflation gas diffusing arrangement is disposed in the inflation chamber between the inflator and the proximal end of the intermediate panel.

    摘要: An airbag includes: a bag main body: and regulating units configured to regulate an expansion completed shape of the bag main body. The bag main body has an expansion completed shape as a substantially square cylindrical shape, where a hollow portion which penetrates substantially along a left-right direction is provided and a circumference of the hollow portion is surrounded by an upper expansion portion and a lower expansion portion and a front expansion portion and a rear expansion portion. The regulating units are arranged at a plurality of horizontally symmetrical locations centered on a center of the bag main body on the left-right directional side and each of the regulating units is configured to straddle the hollow portion when viewed from a lateral side in the left-right direction and at least an upper edge side and a lower edge side are connected to the bag main body side.

    摘要: A side airbag device stored in a side support of a vehicle seat includes an airbag module having an airbag with first and second chambers and an inflator and a webbing partially covering the airbag module. The first chamber is deployed toward a front side of the side support and the second chamber accommodates the inflator therein and is deployed at an inner side with respect to the first chamber. The webbing extends from a rear side of the airbag module along an inner side surface of the airbag module, passes through a pad of the side support along a first path so as to reach an outside of the side support, and further extend along an outer surface of the side support and reach proximately a front edge of the side support when viewed in horizontal cross section of the airbag module from above.
