摘要: A method and apparatus for tagged property files for system configurations. An embodiment of a method includes receiving a property file for a configuration, the file including a set of properties. Each property has a tag to hold an attribute regarding the property. A tag is accessed to obtain an attribute. A value of an element of the configuration is resolved, with the resolution of the value of the element being based at least in part on the attribute.

摘要: In a wireless portal system having a wireless server, a client aware Extensible Markup Language (XML) content integration and transformation method and system. The client aware XML content integration and transformation system includes logic for identifying wireless client devices connecting to the wireless server by using particular characteristics of the client in presenting XML content formatted in response to connection requests from the client to the server. In one embodiment of the present invention, the client aware XML content transformation system receives an indication of a client type and uses this information to automatically search for XML content from a plurality of back-end resource servers on the Internet and transforms the content into a format suitable for delivery to the client. The means of formatting the XML content uses a style sheet such as an Extensible Style sheet Language (XSL) specific to the client type of the client requesting the XML content to transform the XML content into an appropriate markup to the client.

摘要: In order to simplify the insertion of the tool in the case of a coupling for a surgical rotary drive hand piece including a tool which is mounted in the hand piece and driven thereby in rotary manner and incorporating a sleeve-shaped, rotary driven seating in the hand piece into which a shank of the tool is adapted to be inserted so as to form an interlocking rotary drive means, and including at least one locking body which is adapted to be inserted radially into the interior of the seating and which, in an inserted locking position, engages in a recess in the shank and thereby secures it from axial displacement, whereas, in a radially withdrawn position, it leaves the recess and thus enables an axial displacement of the shank in the seating, it is proposed that a driver having at least one contact surface on the side thereof facing the tool and which rotates with the sleeve and is axially displaceable with respect thereto be arranged in the sleeve-shaped seating for the purposes of forming an interlocking rotary drive means, in that the driver is displaceable by the effect of a spring into a pushed-out position in which the locking body or bodies rest thereon and are thus held in their release position, in that the driver is displaceable by means of the shank of the tool resting thereon against the effect of the spring into a pushed-in position in which the locking body or bodies enter the locking position and can secure the shank of the tool from axial displacement, and in that the shank of the tool in the pushed-in position thereof secured from axial displacement by the locking body or bodies pushes the driver against the effect of the spring into the seating in such a manner that its contact surfaces rest against the contact surfaces of the tool so as to form a rotary drive means.

摘要: A method and system for storing and retrieving extensible multi-dimensional display property configurations. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed for the display of content that is configurable to a variety of contextual environments by reading a plurality of settings that are associated with an electronic device requesting content. The plurality of settings defines the contextual environment of the electronic device. The method continues by incorporating the plurality of settings as values in the list of filter criteria. The list of filter criteria is organized in a hierarchical order and specifies the format within which to present the content to be displayed at the electronic device. Thereafter, the method continues by matching the list of filter criteria with a resource to be displayed with the content. The resource is retrieved from memory for ultimate delivery to the electronic device for display.

摘要: To protect a waveguide or cable in an installation channel, a protective profile is inserted into the channel and has a substantially U-shaped cross-section when installed. To install this in the channel, an apparatus having a drum with a profile wound thereon has the profile unwound and guided by guide rolls to a press roll, which presses the profile into the channel to the desired depth. The profile can have a center portion provided with embedded reinforcing elements or even optical or electrical leads.

摘要: A method for digital-to-analog conversion of a digital signal (xd(ti)) comprises resolving the signal (xd(ti)) in the time region into intervals and successively transforming these intervals on the basis of orthogonal functions (gjd(t)). Coefficients (ajd) associated with the orthogonal functions (gjd(t)) are determined and converted from digital to analog and the signal (xa(t)) is transformed back in the analog region on the basis of analog coefficients (aj), which result therefrom, by means of orthogonal functions (hj(t)).
