Abstract:
A service station for an ink jet printer is provided with a base station and a sliding sled having both wipers and caps mounted thereon. Power for sled motion during wiping and capping is provided by the movement of the print carriage of the ink jet printer. Sled motion is guided by pins on the sled which engage slots on the base station. A plank holds the sled in a temporarily stationary position during wiping.
Abstract:
The eyeglass caddy or carrying device disclosed herein is designed as a rigid, substantially tubular apparatus which engages the frames of a pair of eyeglasses to house and protect the eyewear. The eyeglasses are held in place by frictional contact with the case and gravitational forces.
Abstract:
A cantilever assembly includes a cantilever arm having a pair of longitudinal fastening channels with a corresponding pair of slots in communication with the fastening channels. An attachment bracket features a connector portion and a pair of spaced leg portions defining a seat there between with each leg portion having at least one aperture. The leg portions also each have an inner surface featuring an elongated groove with each being in communication with a corresponding one of the apertures. The elongated grooves are positioned in alignment with the slots of the cantilever arm when the cantilever arm is positioned in the seat of the attachment bracket. Tee bolts having a shaft portion and an oblong head portion movably pass through the apertures of the attachment bracket with the oblong head portions pivotable between a first orientation where they may be positioned within the elongated grooves of the attachment bracket and passed through the slots and into and out of the fastening channels of the cantilever arm, and a second orientation where they are secured within the fastening channels of the cantilever arm.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a portable therapeutic exercise device and more particularly a convenient exercise device, which is particularly adapted for restoring and/or maintaining the range of motion of post-operative patients and also having general therapeutic use. The disclosed device has several significant and novel improvements over prior art devices. Several improvements have resulted in a device which is much easier and less expensive to produce, lighter, more convenient to transport and to store. The device has a lightweight base frame, and a moveable carriage connected thereto. A plurality of elastic members couple the base to the carriage to supply resistant force while in operation.
Abstract:
A valve assembly is provided. The valve assembly comprises a housing having an inlet, a first outlet, and a passageway extending therebetween, the passageway having a first inner diameter at the inlet and a second inner diameter at the first outlet, a first poppet valve disposed in, and adapted to selectively seal, the inlet, a second poppet valve disposed in, and adapted to selectively seal, the first outlet, the second poppet valve coupled to the first poppet valve, and a biasing member coupled to the second poppet valve, the biasing member adapted to exert a force sealing the second poppet valve.

Abstract:
A mobile support system having a central region that allows the legs to move in an unobstructed manner and providing an upper body support assembly where the weight is distributed between the elbow region and hand region of the individual for a desirable weight distribution for assisted bipedal motion such as walking or running.
Abstract:
An ink container for an ink delivery system in an inkjet printer, the ink container comprising a bottle for holding a supply of ink, a cap attached to the bottle to form a hermetic seal therebetween, the cap including an air inlet channel and an ink exit channel, and a color indicator ring having a key projecting therefrom. The color indicator ring resides between the ink bottle and the cap and is capable of being fixed in a plurality of predetermined orientations, with each orientation corresponding to a predetermined angle between the key and a line defined by the air inlet channel and the ink exit channel. The inkjet printer includes a plurality of receptacles, each adapted to receive a corresponding ink container containing an ink of a different or predetermined color. Each receptacle has an ink reservoir attached at the base thereof and includes a vertically oriented groove located at a predetermined position on the sidewall of the base. Installation of the correct ink container into the correct receptacle is ensured by matching the key to the groove, and by mating the air inlet channel and the ink exit channels to the corresponding fluid connection features on the ink reservoir.
Abstract:
A rosary includes a flexible elongate member and a plurality of beads carried thereby. The rosary may also include a sensor, and an audible indicator carried by the flexible elongate member for providing an audible indication based upon the sensor. The rosary may further include a visual indicator, in addition to or in place of, the audible indicator. The visual indicator may also be carried by the flexible elongate member for providing a visual indication based upon the sensor.
Abstract:
The exercise apparatus comprises a frame and a carriage. A resistance system resists movement of the carriage with respect to the frame and the longitudinally headward direction. The resistance system allows the resistance to be changed at the head end portion of the frame and further does not require elastic members to travel with the carriage when they are not use. The rebound system that adjusts the range of motion of the carriage comprises two flexible members attached to the carriage and the frame and a resistance member is attached to a central portion of the flexible members and resists lateral seperation of the central portions of the flexible members.
