摘要： In a configuration in which an ink accommodating portion is provided on the outside of an apparatus main body, an appropriate control for suppressing influence of noise can be performed.A recording apparatus includes a recording head that is capable of discharging liquid onto a medium, a controller that controls the recording head, a recording unit that includes the recording head and the controller, a tank unit that includes a liquid accommodating member accommodating the liquid and an electronic component holding information of the liquid accommodating member, a tube that guides the liquid from the liquid accommodating member to the inside of the recording unit, and an electric wiring that electrically connects the controller and the electronic component, in which the electric wiring includes a connection portion which connects cables, a cable on the electronic component side constituting a wiring of the electronic component side with respect to the connection portion, at least a part of which is wired in the tank unit, and a cable on the controller side constituting a wiring of the controller side with respect to the connection portion, at least a part of which is wired in the recording unit, a signal transmitted by the cable on the electronic component side includes an analog signal, and a signal transmitted by the cable on the controller side does not include an analog signal.

The ink cartridge includes a first main body having a first surface facing a first direction and a chamber that stores ink, an ink outlet portion disposed on the first surface of the first main body and that directs the ink from the chamber to an exterior of the first main body; and an ink detecting portion that detects an amount of the ink stored into chamber. The adapter is attachable to the ink cartridge. The adapter includes a second main body and a movable member that at with respect to the second main body.

摘要： An ink cartridge includes a socket portion provided at one end of an ink storage container and configured to be fitted to and detached from a joint portion of a printing machine, an ink supply port provided in the socket portion, and an inner plug configured to seal an ink passage to the ink supply port in response to biasing force applied from a side of the ink storage container. An insertion shaft, provided in the joint portion, pressing the inner plug against the biasing force upon a fitting of the socket portion to the joint portion enables the ink passage to communicate with the ink supply port. An ink holding portion of the inner plug with the insertion shaft pulled out from the ink holding portion after inserted holds the ink near the ink supply port.

摘要： An ink cartridge for an inkjet printer includes a bottom face and a front face; interfaces on the front face for connection to a cartridge receiving structure, the interfaces including an ink interface; a guide interface in the bottom face for guiding the cartridge along a straight line during insertion in the cartridge receiving structure for connecting the interfaces, where the guide interface comprises a guide track for guiding a T-rail guide of the cartridge receiving structure, said guide track extending parallel to said straight line; and a latch track and a latch strop disposed in the bottom face of the ink cartridge to guide and retain, respectively, a latch of the cartridge receiving structure. The guide track and the latch track are formed by one integral cut out in the bottom face of the cartridge.

摘要： An image forming apparatus is disclosed that includes a substantially flat top face and a slanted front face, the bottom side of which recedes backward. The image forming apparatus may includes a paper discharge tray disposed at a lower portion of the slanted front face, the paper discharge tray protruding forward. The paper discharge tray may be tiltable upward and downward. Because the bottom side of the slanted front face recedes backward, the flat top face can be provided, and simultaneously, enough space for the feeding and discharging of paper can be secured.
