The motor is attached to the housing. The microphone detects audio waves via the first port and vibration noise of the motor via the housing. The audio waves may include acoustic noise from the motor. The dampener is coupled to the housing. The dampener reduces the acoustic noise from the motor and the vibration noise from the motor.

    Abstract: An image capture device includes a housing having a lens snout protruding from a front housing surface. A front microphone is mounted below the lens snout. A top microphone is mounted under a top housing surface. The top microphone is positioned to receive direct freestream air flow at a first pitched forward angle. The front microphone is positioned to receive turbulent air flow at a second pitched forward angle. The second pitched forward angle is greater than or equal to the first pitched forward angle. An audio processor receives a first audio signal and a second audio signal from the top microphone and front microphone, respectively. The audio processor generates frequency sub-bands from the first and second audio signals. The audio processor selects the frequency sub-bands with the lowest noise metric and combines them to generate an output audio signal.

The microphone may obtain a microphone signal that includes an acoustic signal portion and a mechanical noise portion. The vibration sensor may obtain a vibration signal. The processor may upsample the vibration signal. The processor may determine a correlation value. The correlation value may be based on the microphone signal, the upsampled vibration signal, or both. The processor may determine filter coefficients. The filter coefficients may be determined on a condition that the correlation value is above a threshold. The filter coefficient may be based on the upsampled vibration signal. The processor may filter the vibration signal based on the filter coefficients to remove the mechanical noise portion and obtain a processed microphone signal. The processor may output the processed microphone signal.

The one or more magnets may correspond with a respective coil of the one or more coils. The shaft may extend through a center portion of the circular structure. The shaft may provide a rotational axis for the motor. The shaft may be configured to generate a natural resonance that does not overlap with an operating frequency of the motor.
