Abstract: A pressure actuated switching valve includes a first valve chamber including a first chamber portion. The first chamber portion has a first inner diameter, a second chamber portion having a second inner diameter that is greater than the first inner diameter, a third chamber portion having a third inner diameter that is greater than the first inner diameter, a fourth chamber portion having a fourth inner diameter that is greater than first inner diameter, and a valve member. The valve member includes a first section having a first outer diameter that is greater than the first inner diameter. A second section of the valve member has a second outer diameter that is closely matched to the third inner diameter. A third section of the valve member is arranged has a third outer diameter that is greater than the first outer diameter.

Abstract: A manual positioning assembly for connection to a shaft of a valve configured to manually manipulate a disc of the valve between an open and closed position. The manual valve positioning assembly includes a housing having a first and a second end. The first end includes a flange configured for fastening the housing to the valve. The second end includes a conical feature. An alignment bushing within the second end of the housing and a double universal joint. The double universal joint includes a first end and a second end. The first end of the double universal joint is configured to be mechanically fastened to the shaft of the valve. The second end is positioned within the alignment bushing and includes a socket configured to receive a tool that manually turns the double universal joint, the shaft, and the disc to position the disc in the open or closed position.

A housing for a torque motor and a method of assembling a torque motor assembly are also disclosed.

Abstract: A valve member is mounted on a shaft to pivot within a fluid passage. A control selectively moves a piston in a linear direction to control a position of the valve member in the fluid passage. The piston causes a roller pin to move as the piston moves linearly. The roller pin is mounted in crank collars of a crank shaft such that movement of the roller pin causes the crank collars to rotate crank shaft rotating position, and the valve shaft. The roller pin is mounted within the crank collars by bearings. The bearings each have an outer race associated with a crank collar, an inner race associated with the roller pin, and bearing members separate the inner and outer race. There is a spring bias resisting movement of the inner races relative to said roller pin. An anti-ice system is also disclosed.

A first hardening of the carbon composite is performed. The method machines the carbon composite to form a shape. The method then performs a second densification and a second hardening. The method then final machines the carbon composite to form a final shape of the component.

The first side and the second side each extend between the first face, the second face, and the third face. A first torque motor assembly is mounted to the first side. A second torque motor assembly is mounted to the second side.
