Abstract: This application relates to wireless communications technologies, and in particular, to a random access device, method, and system. In a network device provided in this application, a processing module is configured to determine a same processing result for random access procedures initiated by N terminal devices in M terminal device sets, where M and N are positive integers; and a sending module is configured to send a same random access control message to the N terminal devices, where the random access control message indicates the same processing result determined by the processing module, the message includes terminal set identification information, and the terminal set identification information identifies the N terminal devices. The network device uses a same random access reject message to indicate the same processing result for the random access procedures to the N terminal devices.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a paging method, a core network device, a base station, and user equipment. The method includes: determining, by the core network device, reference frame information when the core network device determines that a synchronization occasion arrives, where the reference frame information includes a radio frame number; and sending, by the core network device, the reference frame information to a base station in a paging area, so that the base station synchronizes a radio frame in the base station according to the reference frame information. The embodiments of the present invention can reduce problems that UE cannot listen for a paging message.

Abstract: A communication method and a communications apparatus are provided. Abstract: A buffer status report processing method and an apparatus are disclosed. A network device determines a logical channel or a logical channel group for which a separate buffer status report BSR needs to be reported, and sends separate-BSR reporting indication information. A terminal device receives the separate-BSR reporting indication information sent by the network device, and reports the separate BSR for the logical channel or the logical channel group indicated in the separate-BSR reporting indication information. The network device receives the separate BSR reported by the terminal device, and determines, based on the separate BSR, uplink buffer data amount information corresponding to the logical channel or the logical channel group. According to the BSR processing method, resource scheduling accuracy of the network device is improved.
