Abstract: The technology of this application relates to a random access method, applied to the communication field. The method includes a terminal device sends, to a network device, a first message used to establish a wireless connection, the terminal device receives, a connection response sent by the network device, where the connection response includes information about a first polarization parameter, and when accessing the network device based on the connection response, the terminal device determines, based on the information about the first polarization parameter included in the connection response, whether the terminal device is qualified to access the network device. A dimension, namely, a polarization parameter, is introduced into a random access procedure, so that a preamble capacity is increased, a problem that the network device cannot identify a colliding terminal device is alleviated, and efficiency of establishing a communication connection between the terminal device and the network device is improved.

The wireless communication method also includes determining, by the terminal device, the first direct frame based on at least one of the first offset or the frame number of the first system frame.

Abstract: The disclosure provides information transmission methods and communication apparatuses. One example method includes that a receiving apparatus receives a synchronization signal and cell-specific information that are sent by a sending apparatus on a first beam, where the cell-specific information includes indication information which indicates whether there is beam-specific information, and the first beam comprises a plurality of second beams. In response to determining that the indication information indicates that there is the beam-specific information, the receiving apparatus receives beam-specific information of second beam of the plurality of second beams, where the beam-specific information is sent by the sending apparatus on the second beam, and the receiving apparatus is within coverage of the second beam. The receiving apparatus performs initial access using the synchronization signal, the cell-specific information, and the beam-specific information.

Abstract: Example non-terrestrial network (NTN)-based data transmission methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process for data transmission does not use a HARQ transmission manner, and an unused bit in DCI may be multiplexed. The DCI includes a first part of bits indicating a process number of the first HARQ process. Another part of bits of the DCI may indicate the process number or another parameter. The terminal device perform data processing by using the DCI and output processed data, that is, perform data transmission.
