Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a network slice management method and device, and relate to the field of communications technologies. The method includes: receiving, by a first management unit, a network slice management request, where the network slice management request carries instance information or indication information of a transport network manager; and sending, by the first management unit, a transmission management request to a corresponding transport network manager based on the instance information of the transport network manager, where the transmission management request is used to deploy a transmission network. The embodiments of this application provide a method for determining a transport network manager to create a corresponding transmission network.

Abstract: An optical amplifier includes at least two stages of optical amplifier systems, an optical switch, a dynamic gain equalizer (DGE), and a control circuit. An input end of the optical switch is separately coupled to an output end of a first-stage optical amplifier system and an output end of a second-stage optical amplifier system, and an output end of the optical switch is separately coupled to an input end of the second-stage optical amplifier system and an input end of the DGE. The optical switch is configured to set at least two gain modes of the optical amplifier. The control circuit is configured to adjust an attenuation spectrum of the DGE based on the at least two gain modes set by the optical switch. The DGE is configured to perform, based on an adjusted attenuation spectrum, power attenuation processing on signals of different wavelengths in a received optical signal.

The method includes: obtaining, by a second management unit, affinity information, where the affinity information is used to configure affinity and/or anti-affinity between a target object and another object, or is used to configure affinity and/or anti-affinity between a child object of the target object and another object; sending, by the second management unit, a management request of the target object to a first management unit, where the management request carries the affinity information; and managing, by the first management unit, the target object according to the affinity information, after receiving the management request that is of the target object and that is sent by the second management unit. In embodiments of the present invention, effective management of a network service unit or a virtualized network function unit can be implemented.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for handling a cell outage. The method for handling a cell outage includes: receiving, by a first base station, an energy saving activation message sent by a second base station when a cell outage happens to a second cell, where the energy saving activation message is used to disable the energy saving function; transferring, by the first base station, the first cell from the energy saving state to the normal state according to the energy saving activation message, or keeping a third cell in the normal state until learning that the cell outage of the second cell is solved. This method prevents a coverage blind area in the network when a cell outage happens to a second cell that covers the area of a first cell which is in the energy saving state.
