Abstract: An apparatus includes one or more processors and a memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to receive a first wake-up signal. The first wake-up signal is one of K wake-up signals, K is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and the K wake-up signals are quasi co-located with K synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), K channel state information-reference signals (CSI-RSs), or K demodulation reference signals (DMRSs). The apparatus is also caused to determine M paging occasions. There is a correspondence between the K wake-up signals and the M paging occasions, and M is an integer greater than or equal to 1. The apparatus is further caused to receive, on the M paging occasions, downlink control information (DCI) used for paging.

Abstract: A signal sending method, a signal receiving method, and a device. The signal sending method includes: generating synchronization signals, where the synchronization signals include a first synchronization signal and a second synchronization signal; and sending the synchronization signals, where the first synchronization signal and the second synchronization signal overlap in time domain, and within a time domain resource in which the first synchronization signal and the second synchronization signal overlap, there is an intersection set between a frequency domain resource corresponding to the first synchronization signal and a frequency domain resource corresponding to the second synchronization signal. In this way, frequency domain resources occupied by the synchronization signals may be reduced, thereby saving frequency domain resources for another data transmission process. In addition, the two synchronization signals may further share a part of the frequency domain resources, thereby improving resource utilization.

Abstract: A link detection method and an apparatus are provided. The link detection method includes: determining that a first radio link to an access network device fails; detecting a second radio link to the access network device, to determine whether the second radio link fails; and if determining that the second radio link does not fail, communicating with the access network device over the second radio link. If it is determined that the first radio link fails, the second radio link may be further detected. If the second radio link does not fail, the second radio link may continue to be used in communication, and RRC reestablishment does not need to be performed on the first radio link. This reduces an unnecessary RRC reestablishment process, and a terminal device does not need to fall back to an RRC idle state, so that the terminal device can continue to work normally.

Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example communication method includes generating a synchronization signal block (SSB) by an access network device, where the SSB includes a first physical broadcast channel (PBCH) and a second PBCH. The first PBCH carries time-frequency resource position information of first synchronization information, the second PBCH carries time-frequency resource position information of second synchronization information, and a time-frequency resource position of the first synchronization information is different from a time-frequency resource position of the second synchronization information. The access network device broadcasts the SSB. In embodiments of this application, the SSB may carry PBCHs corresponding to terminal devices of different bandwidth types and/or synchronization information of the terminal devices of different bandwidth types to satisfy processing requirements of the terminal devices of a plurality of bandwidth types.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an information processing method and apparatus. A terminal device encodes uplink control information (UCI) to obtain coded bits of the UCI, and encodes data to obtain coded bits of the data. The terminal device multiplexes the coded bits of the UCI and the coded bits of the data to obtain a multiplexed bit sequence. The terminal device then transmits the multiplexed bit sequence to a network device via a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). A length of a transmission time interval of the UCI is less than or equal to 0.5 millisecond. In this way, data transmission latency can be reduced.

When the time domain resource corresponding to the first uplink control information overlaps with the time domain resource corresponding to the second uplink control information, the terminal device is configured to transmit third uplink control information on the overlapping time domain resource.
