Abstract: Provided are a configuration method and a transmission method of a new reference signal for frequency offset estimation in a novel wireless communication system. The method may include configuring a synchronization signal to be transmitted through a first bandwidth part of one or more bandwidth parts configured by dividing an entire bandwidth into one or more parts, allocating the one or more reference signals for estimating the frequency offset on one or more resources other than a resource for configuring the synchronization signal, and transmitting the one or more reference signals for estimating the frequency offset.

Abstract: A method includes a user equipment (UE) receiving, from a first transmission reception point (TRP) on a first carrier, a synchronization signal (SS) and at least a physical broadcast channel (PBCH). The UE performs a random access channel (RACH) procedure with a second TRP on a second carrier in accordance with configuration information from at least the PBCH. The UE on the second carrier establishes a radio resource control (RRC) connection with the second TRP.

Abstract: A wireless device transmits, to a base station, at least one first measurement report of at least one synchronization signal of a cell. An indication, of one or more channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) of the cell, is received from the base station based on: the at least one first measurement report. and a first antenna port of the one or more CSI-RSs being quasi-collocated with a second port of the at least one synchronization signal. Based on the indication, at least one second measurement report of the one or more CSI-RSs is transmitted. Based on the at least one second measurement report, a downlink control information is received that initiates a random access procedure of the cell based on at least one first CSI-RS from the one or more CSI-RSs.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a method includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE) from a first base station, on a first carrier, a synchronization sequence (SS) and performing a radio resource management (RRM) measurement in accordance with the SS. The method also includes performing cell selection and mobility support in accordance with the RRM measurement, when the UE is in idle mode and generating an RRM measurement report in accordance with the RRM measurement and transmitting, by the UE to the first base station on the first carrier, the RRM measurement report, when the UE is in connected mode.

A first determination method for determining the first basic information size is different from a second determination method for determining a second basic information size of control information mapped on a common search space in the first component carrier. The first determination method for determining the first basic information size is different from a third determination method for determining a third basic information size of control information mapped on a search space in a second component carrier that is different from the first component carrier.
