In the method, a terminal may obtain a main resource pool used to transmit sidelink data and a supplementary resource pool used to transmit the sidelink data. The terminal device determines slot formats of N slots on at least one second carrier, where the slot formats of the N slots are determined based on M slot formats. N and M are positive integers. Abstract: This application provides an interference measurement method. A first terminal sends an interference measurement signal on an interference measurement resource, where the interference measurement signal is a signal used to measure interference between links in different directions, and the different directions include a downlink direction between the first terminal and a first network device and an uplink direction between a second terminal and a second network device; and the second terminal monitors interference measurement signal strength based on information about the interference measurement resource and information about the interference measurement signal. The second terminal may further perform power control based on interference measurement, that is, control, based on the interference measurement signal strength, power at which the second terminal sends a data signal to the second network device. In addition, this application further provides a device related to interference measurement, to ensure actual application and implementation of the foregoing method.
