Abstract: A fluid manifold includes an inlet comprising an opening into an interior of the fluid manifold, an outlet end that is positioned opposite the inlet and that is in fluid communication with the inlet, a shroud extending between the inlet and the outlet end and surrounding a flow path of the fluid manifold, and a first flow distributor positioned within the interior of the fluid manifold. The first flow distributor includes a hollow body including a first surface at a downstream side of the first flow distributor and a second surface at an upstream side of the first flow distributor, a central cavity defined by the second surface of the hollow body, and openings extending from the first surface to the second surface such that a fluid can pass from the central cavity through the openings. The first flow distributor and the fluid manifold are integrally formed.

Abstract: The monolithic redundant loop cold plate core includes a core structure and a first cooling loop formed in the core structure. The first cooling loop including: a plurality of first cooling loop passageways extending across a heat exchanger core in one or more passes. The one or more passes include at least a first pass. The monolithic redundant loop cold plate core includes a second cooling loop formed in the core structure. The second cooling loop includes: a plurality of second cooling loop passageways extending across the heat exchanger core in the one or more passes. The plurality of first cooling loop passageways are intermixed in an alternating side-by-side arrangement with the plurality of second cooling loop passageways in a single cooling plane. The monolithic redundant loop cold plate core is a single piece including a unitary structure.

Abstract: A heat exchanger assembly is provided. The heat exchanger assembly may comprise a hot layer disposed between at least two cold layers. The hot layer may comprise a hot layer fin disposed within a hot layer closure bar. The hot layer closure bar may comprise a parting sheet support coupled to a frame. The parting sheet support may be configured to support a parting sheet while also allowing a fluid flow through the hot layer. The parting sheet support may comprise fluid channels configured to allow the fluid flow through the parting sheet support.

Abstract: A heat exchanger has an outer shell enclosing an inner chamber and extending between a first inlet and a first outlet. The chamber receives a separating wall. The shell extends between axial ends, and generally along a helix. The helix is defined with the wall moving in a continuous manner along a first axial direction and with a circumferential component between the first inlet and the first outlet. A plurality of tubes extend through openings in the separating wall and generally along a helix. The plurality of tubes extend from a second inlet and a second outlet, and with the helix defined along the first axial direction and with a component in a circumferential direction. A method and a temperature control system are also disclosed.
