    Abstract: A dual pump fuel delivery system for an aircraft includes a fixed displacement fuel pump including an inlet and an outlet. The fixed displacement fuel pump is configured to supply a first portion of a fuel demand for the aircraft. A variable displacement fuel pump including an inlet portion and an outlet portion includes a selectively adjustable pump actuator configured to supply a second portion of the fuel demand. The second portion is variable. A fuel demand sensor operates to detect a selected fuel demand. A control member is operatively connected to the fuel demand sensor and the variable displacement fuel pump. The control member being configured to operate to adjust the variable displacement fuel pump to output the second portion of the fuel demand to satisfy the selected fuel demand.

    Abstract: A system includes an actuation pump sub-system (APS). A fuel oil cooler (FOC) is included in a first branch of a supply line. The FOC is in fluid communication to receive flow from a second outlet of the APS. The APS includes a bypass valve (BPV) in a second branch of the supply line, in parallel with the FOC and in fluid communication to allow flow from the third outlet into the supply line bypassing the FOC. A combined main and augmentor pump sub-system (CMAPS) has a main inlet connected in fluid communication with the supply line downstream of the BPV and FOC, a gas generator (GG) outlet for supplying fuel to a downstream gas generator, and an augmentor outlet for supplying fuel to a downstream augmentor.

    Abstract: A system includes a variable displacement pump (VDP) in fluid communication with an inlet line and with an outlet line. The VDP includes a variable displacement mechanism configured to vary pressure to the outlet line. The system includes a relief valve (RV) having a control pressure port and an RV inlet port in fluid communication with the outlet line and an RV outlet in fluid communication with a bypass line. The system includes an actuator operatively connected to the control pressure port of the RV to change function of the RV between a first function and a second function. The first function is a high pressure relief valve function and the second function is as a wind milling bypass function.

    Abstract: The system includes a main supply line. A variable displacement pump (VDP) is in fluid communication with an inlet line and with an outlet line. An actuator is operatively connected for direct control of the variable displacement mechanism. A pressure sensor is operatively connected to the outlet line to generate feedback indicative of pressure in the outlet line. A controller is operatively connected to receive the feedback from the pressure sensor, and operatively connected to the actuator to control the variable displacement mechanism based on the feedback. An actuation system is in fluid communication to be supplied with fluid from the outlet line for use in hydraulic actuation. The actuation system includes an actuation return line connecting the hydraulic actuation system in fluid communication to return fluid to the main supply line.

    Abstract: A controllable pump system can include an inlet line and a pressure controlled pump connected to the inlet line to receive input flow. The pressure controlled pump can have a pressure controlled pump state configured to control a pump output to an output line connected to the pressure controlled pump. The system can include a slew pump connected to the inlet line and configured to output a slew pump pressure, and a slew pressure valve connected to the input line and to a second line and configured to output a control pressure to the pressure controlled pump.     Abstract: A system includes a variable displacement pump (VDP) with a pump inlet and a pump outlet. The VDP is configured to receive a flow at the pump inlet at a first pressure and to outlet a flow from the pump outlet at a second pressure elevated relative to the first pressure.
