    摘要: Methods and apparatus for three-dimensional object representation are described. In an example, data representing a three-dimensional object is received, the data comprising an object property description associated with each of a plurality of locations within the object. Distinct object property descriptions are identified and a data object, which has a plurality of addresses, is populated with data indicative of the distinct object property descriptions, such that data indicative of each distinct object property description is represented at a different address. Data comprising a representation of the object is generated, the data comprising a data object address associated with each of a plurality of locations, wherein the data object address corresponds to the address of data indicative of the object property description for that location.

    摘要: Examples associated with digital composition hashing are described. One example method includes receiving a digital composition file from a user. The digital composition file may include a top-level design and a hierarchy of sub-level designs. A hashed structure may be generated from the digital composition file, where a node in the hashed structure for the first sub-level design is generated based on hashes of sub-level designs below the first sub-level design in the hierarchy. The hashed structure and a hash of the digital composition file are stored in association with the user.

The octree defines an object to be three-dimensionally printed and includes a list of nodes for each depth of the octree where each node includes nodal content representing at least one voxel. The at least one quad-tree index is to index at least one node of the octree and has a depth less than or equal to a maximum resolved depth. The at least one quad-tree index is to be accessed by computer executable instructions to retrieve nodal content from the octree to control a processor to process the object to be three-dimensionally printed.

    摘要: According to an example, a processing device may slice a 3D model along a first direction to generate a plurality of layers in parallel planes defined across a second direction and a third direction, in which each of the plurality of layers is composed of respective polygons representing portions of the 3D model. The plurality of layers may be partitioned into a plurality of stacked boxes containing the respective polygons and for each stacked box of the plurality of stacked boxes, the polygons in the stacked box may be assembled into a superset polygon and the superset polygon may be partitioned into bounding shapes. A shape profile of the 3D object may be generated using the bounding shapes.

    摘要: In an example implementation, a method of compensating for dimensional variation in 3D printing includes receiving a 3D object model that represents a 3D part to be printed. The method also includes receiving a build material type and a position for printing the 3D part within a build volume. The method includes determining from the position, target subvolumes of the build volume into which the 3D part is to be printed, retrieving a dimensional compensation factor associated with each target subvolume, and then applying each dimensional compensation factor to the 3D object model to scale the 3D part according to the position of the 3D part within the build volume.
