摘要： A flexible non-skid strip is constituted by a main body extending along the length of the strip and adapted to be secured to the tread portion of a stair, a forward edge anchoring portion coextending with the main body parallel to and spaced from the main body and adapted to be secured to the riser of the stair, an arcuate cross-section connection portion integrally connected to the upper surfaces of the main body and the anchoring portion and projecting above the upper surfaces of the main body and the anchoring portion so as to integrally connect the main body and anchoring portion together and adapted to bend about the stair edge of said stair so as to cover the stair edge, and a non-skid top surface portion on the upper surface of the main body.

摘要： The escape of the present invention is installed in each storey of a building and comprises a storage space for the escape, a sliding platform, and an escape passageway. The storage space is formed in each storey of the building to have a configuration of a rectangular parallelepiped. The storage space has an opening in an external wall of a building. The platform is normally put away in the storage space and, in case of emergency, slides out from the opening of the storage space to form a landing of the escape passageway. The escape passageway is put up in the platform while one end of the passageway is pivotally attached to the platform to rotate the passageway downwards. When the escape is used, one end of the escape passageway rotates toward a lower platform to form an inclined passage between the upper and lower platforms.

摘要： A ceiling construction for buildings has a plurality of flanged main beams disposed in a predetermined spaced relationship to each other and bridging wall mouldings opposed and spaced from each other; a plurality of flanged cross beams connected to the main beams in a predetermined spaced relationship to each other at right angles on the main beams so as to form a ceiling framework; a ceiling wall mounted to the ceiling framework so as to form an access opening in a predetermined position; a pair of auxiliary beams; an access door; and a plurality of mounting devices for the access door. The pair of auxiliary beams each is bridged in a predetermined relationship to the opposite main beams of the main beams adjacent to and spaced from each other or the opposite cross beams of the cross beams adjacent to and spaced from each other on the inner side of the ceiling wall in relation to the access opening. Further, the access door is positioned in the access opening, and is secured to the ceiling framework by the use of the auxiliary beams and mounting devices.

摘要： A stair nosing is constituted by an edge base made of a hard material and adapted to be installed on the tread of a stair step, and an edge bead cushion formed on a surface of the edge base so as to be located at the stair tread nosing of the stair step. A positioning groove is formed on the surface of the edge base behind the edge bead cushion, and a gripper is adapted to be set in the positioning groove and to be secured to the edge base. The edge base is provided with a riser cover integrally formed at the front edge thereof so as to be positioned on the riser of the step in a manner to fit over the stair tread nosing. The gripper is composed of a sheet member adapted to be positioned in the groove and a number of spaced nails projected from the surface of the sheet member.
