摘要： A ceiling construction for buildings has a plurality of flanged main beams disposed in a predetermined spaced relationship to each other and bridging wall mouldings opposed and spaced from each other; a plurality of flanged cross beams connected to the main beams in a predetermined spaced relationship to each other at right angles to the main beams so as to form a ceiling framework; a ceiling wall mounted on the ceiling framework so as to form an access opening in a predetermined position; a pair of auxiliary beams; a plurality of fastening devices for the auxiliary beams; an access door; and a plurality of mounting devices for the access door. The pair of auxiliary beams each is bridged in a predetermined relationship to flanges the opposite main beams of the main beams adjacent to and spaced from each other or flanges of the opposite cross beams of the cross beams adjacent to and spaced from each other in the access opening on the ceiling wall. Further, the opposite ends of the auxiliary beams are secured to one of the main and cross beams by the fastening devices. Furthermore, the access door is positioned in the access opening, and is secured to the ceiling frame work by the use of the auxiliary beams and mounting devices.

摘要： A top rail for handrails comprises a top rail body formed of soft synthetic resin, semi-hard synthetic resin or synthetic rubber and having a bendable metal core incorporated therein extending in the longitudinal direction thereof. The bendable metal core is bendable under a force in excess of a predetermined value and maintains the top rail body in its bent position when the core is bent together with the body. The bendable metal core can be the form of an elongated solid steel bar, to which a lubricant has been applied to the surface thereof and soft or semi-hard synthetic resin is extruded about the lubricant applied surface to form the top rail body. The bendable metal core can also be in the form of an elongated solid aluminum or aluminum alloy bar, to which is applied adhesive about the surface thereof and soft or semi-hard synthetic resin is extruded about the adhesive applied surface.

摘要： An access door to be installed on the ceiling or the like of a building which essentially comprises an outer square frame adapted to be installed in an opening formed at said installation area; an inner square frame pivotally connected to said outer frame for movement between open and closed positions; a pair of link hinge means provided on each of two selected sides of said outer frame to pivotally connect said frame to said outer frame; and a lock means for locking said inner frame to said outer frame as the inner frame is in its closed position.The inner frame has a joint finishing flange at the peripheral edge thereof to conceal the peripheral edge of said outer frame as the inner frame is in its closed position. Also, each of the link hinge means essentially comprises a pair of parallel long links in which the leading end of the lower link has a swing control arm, a short follower link for pivotally connecting the leading ends of the long links, a link guide upwardly pushing the swing control arm as the inner frame is closed, and a bracket connecting the long links together and securing the link hinge means to the outer frame.
