    Abstract: A multicast information transmission method and device. The method includes sending a delivery traffic indication map (DTIM) beacon frame to a station (STA), where the DTIM beacon frame is used to indicate multicast groups which have multicast information to be sent; and according to an order of a multicast identifier (ID) of the multicast groups which have multicast information to be sent, in preset sending intervals, sending multicast information of the multicast groups which have multicast information to be sent, so that the STA receives multicast information of a multicast group to which the STA belongs in a receiving interval corresponding to the multicast group to which the STA belongs. The technical solutions in the present invention reduce STA resource waste.
