Abstract: This application provides a method for reporting port information, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: determining, by a terminal device, an uplink signal, where the uplink signal includes information about a phase tracking reference signal PTRS port of the terminal device, or the uplink signal includes information about the PTRS port and information about a DMRS port, or the uplink signal includes a correspondence between the PTRS port and the DMRS port; and sending, by the terminal device, the uplink signal to a network device. In embodiments of this application, the terminal device reports the uplink signal to the network device, so that the network device does not need to configure different PTRS ports for DMRS ports, to avoid configuring excessive PTRS ports, thereby saving PTRS port resources.

Abstract: A wireless communication method includes determining a length of a ZC sequence based on a resource block quantity or a subcarrier quantity corresponding to a system bandwidth and determining a reference signal sequence included in an uplink reference signal based on the length of the ZC sequence and a resource block quantity or a subcarrier quantity corresponding to an allocated user bandwidth that is a part of the system bandwidth. When different communications devices use the same system bandwidth for communication, reference signal sequences used by the different communications devices correspond to the same ZC sequence length. The ZC sequence length is exclusively designed for a resource block quantity or a carrier quantity of the system bandwidth. Generation of the reference signal sequences is related to mapped locations of the reference signal sequences. Therefore, reference signal sequences used by different communications devices have a relatively high cross correlation.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method, an apparatus, and a system. Abstract: This application discloses a reference signal transmission method and apparatus. A base station sends a first reference signal and a second reference signal, where the first reference signal is sent by using a first group of antenna ports, the second reference signal is sent by using a second group of antenna ports, the first group of antenna ports include at least two antenna ports, and the second group of antenna ports include at least two antenna ports; and second reference signals are mapped to a same time-frequency resource, or second reference signals sent on the at least two antenna ports in the second group of antenna ports are mapped to a same time-frequency resource. According to the foregoing solution, second reference signals transmitted on different ports are mapped to a same time-frequency resource, thereby reducing a quantity of occupied time-frequency resources.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes example downlink signal sending methods, downlink signal receiving methods, and devices. In one example method a transmit end device indicates position information of at least one of a first signal or a second signal in time domain based on a position relationship between the first signal and the second signal in at least one of frequency domain or time domain. The transmit end device can then send a frame including the first signal and the second signal.
