The present invention discloses a method for indicating quasi co-location indication information and a device, to diversify reference signal types and reference signal configuration information that are indicated by QCL. The method includes: generating, by a base station, reference signal configuration information; performing, by the base station based on the reference signal configuration information, quasi co-location QCL assumption on reference signals corresponding to at least two antenna ports in reference signals, to generate QCL indication information; and sending, by the base station, the QCL indication information to a terminal.
Abstract:
This application provides a reference signal indication method and apparatus. The method includes: transmitting, by a terminal device, a PTRS to a network device based on a time domain density; and receiving, by the network device, the PTRS transmitted by the terminal device based on the time domain density, where the time domain density is a density in a discrete Fourier transform spread orthogonal frequency division multiplexing DFT-s-OFDM waveform. Therefore, successful PTRS transmission can be ensured.
Abstract:
A method for implementing Customized Ringing Signal (CRS) services is provided. The method includes: receiving a call request initiated by a caller terminal; obtaining a policy of playing a CRS tone according to the call request, where the policy is a policy of playing a CRS tone, namely, a caller CRS tone or a callee CRS tone, or a policy of filtering the CRS tone; and playing the CRS tone to a callee according to the policy. By setting a policy of playing the CRS tone to the callee in the network or the callee terminal, the users enjoy the CRS services at their own discretion.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a reference signal transmission method, including: sending, by a terminal, a first reference signal and a second reference signal; and correspondingly, receiving, by a network device, the first reference signal and the second reference signal, where the first reference signal is mapped to a plurality of symbols and is used for estimation of channel state information, the second reference signal is mapped to at least two of the plurality of symbols and is used for phase tracking, and a subcarrier to which the second reference signal is mapped on one of the at least two symbols has a same frequency-domain location as a subcarrier to which the second reference signal is mapped on the rest of the at least two symbols. With the foregoing solution, accuracy of channel state information estimation can be improved.

This application provides a method for reporting port information, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: determining, by a terminal device, an uplink signal, where the uplink signal includes information about a phase tracking reference signal PTRS port of the terminal device, or the uplink signal includes information about the PTRS port and information about a DMRS port, or the uplink signal includes a correspondence between the PTRS port and the DMRS port; and sending, by the terminal device, the uplink signal to a network device. In embodiments of this application, the terminal device reports the uplink signal to the network device, so that the network device does not need to configure different PTRS ports for DMRS ports, to avoid configuring excessive PTRS ports, thereby saving PTRS port resources.

This application discloses a reference signal transmission method and apparatus. A base station sends a first reference signal and a second reference signal, where the first reference signal is sent by using a first group of antenna ports, the second reference signal is sent by using a second group of antenna ports, the first group of antenna ports include at least two antenna ports, and the second group of antenna ports include at least two antenna ports; and second reference signals are mapped to a same time-frequency resource, or second reference signals sent on the at least two antenna ports in the second group of antenna ports are mapped to a same time-frequency resource. According to the foregoing solution, second reference signals transmitted on different ports are mapped to a same time-frequency resource, thereby reducing a quantity of occupied time-frequency resources.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a signal transmission method, including: sending, by a first device, a first reference signal to a second device, where the first reference signal is used for phase tracking; the first reference signal is mapped to a first symbol; the first symbol includes a symbol that carries a data signal and that precedes a second symbol; the second symbol is one or more consecutive symbols carrying a DMRS; and the one or more symbols include the 1st symbol carrying the DMRS. According to the foregoing solution, it can be ensured that a PT-RS is also mapped to a symbol to which a data channel is mapped and that precedes a symbol carrying a DMRS, thereby ensuring phase noise estimation performance.
