    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatus for transmitting uplink control information. One example method includes generating, by a terminal device, an encoded uplink data packet, where the uplink data packet belongs to an uplink channel, the uplink channel is carried on a candidate time-frequency resource in a first time transmission interval (TTI), the candidate time-frequency resource is a first time-frequency resource or a second time-frequency resource, and a second time-domain start point of the second time-frequency resource is later than a first time-domain start point of the first time-frequency resource, performing, by the terminal device, detection on a carrier in which the candidate time-frequency resource is located, and sending, by the terminal device, the uplink channel on the candidate time-frequency resource based on a result of the detection, where the uplink channel includes uplink control information and the encoded uplink data packet.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an information processing method and apparatus. A terminal device encodes uplink control information (UCI) to obtain coded bits of the UCI, and encodes data to obtain coded bits of the data. The terminal device multiplexes the coded bits of the UCI and the coded bits of the data to obtain a multiplexed bit sequence. The terminal device then transmits the multiplexed bit sequence to a network device via a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). A length of a transmission time interval of the UCI is less than or equal to 0.5 millisecond. In this way, data transmission latency can be reduced.

    Abstract: Various embodiments provide a communication method. The method includes: determining, by a terminal device, first uplink control information and second uplink control information. In those embodiments, a length of a time domain resource corresponding to the first uplink control information is less than a length of a time domain resource corresponding to the second uplink control information. The first uplink control information or the second uplink control information comprises at least one of hybrid automatic repeat request information, channel state information, and scheduling request information. When the time domain resource corresponding to the first uplink control information overlaps with the time domain resource corresponding to the second uplink control information, the terminal device is configured to transmit third uplink control information on the overlapping time domain resource.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to example data transmission methods, user equipment, and access network devices in an LAA-LTE system. An example data receiving method includes determining, by user equipment, first information of a first cell. The user equipment determines a first subframe based on the first information, where a downlink data transmission length of the first subframe is less than a first threshold. The user equipment then determines a data transmission characteristic of the cell in the first subframe based on a preset condition, so as to receive, based on the data transmission characteristic, data including the first subframe. In doing so, a data transmission characteristic of a base station or a terminal is standardized, and a reference signal such as a DRS can be correctly identified.

    Abstract: Embodiments provide a uplink channel transmission method. Scheduling information from the network device can be received by a terminal device. The scheduling information indicates uplink time-frequency resources carrying at least one uplink channel. a first uplink channel is carried on a first uplink time-frequency resource, and the first uplink time-frequency resource occupies M subbands in the N subbands in frequency domain, M≥2. The M subbands can be detected by the terminal device to determine, from the first uplink time-frequency resource, a second uplink time-frequency resource usable by the terminal device. The second uplink time-frequency resource occupies K subbands in the M subbands in frequency domain, and M>K≥1. The first uplink channel can be sent by the terminal device by using the second uplink time-frequency resource.
