A method of channel allocation for respective radios is disclosed. The method begins by scanning within sectors of a phased array for retrieval of BSSIDs belonging to each beam of a particular channel in the sectors. Then, corresponding characterizing information is recorded for every BSSID located. Next, an initial channel allocation for the respective radios is formed. The initial channel allocation is compared with a plurality of predetermined channel allocation modes that include a first mode of Point-to-Point (PtP) linkage, a second mode of MultiPoint-to-Point (MPtP) linkage, a third mode of Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) linkage, and a fourth mode of MultiPoint-To-MultiPoint (MPtMP) linkage, and a mode out of the predetermined channel allocation modes is selected that best characterizes the initial channel allocation. The radios are configured based on the channel allocation and unbalanced loading is reduced by adding/subtracting a non-overlapped frequency channel of a radio to an unbalanced beam.

A dual-band patch antenna is disclosed. The dual-band patch antenna includes a polygon patch constructed from two rectangular radiators (radiating metal patches) combined as the shape similar to Siamese Twins, each of the rectangular radiators having a shorting strip for size reducing. The dual-band patch antenna employs one single common probe feed connected to the overlap portion of two rectangular radiators. When the dual-band patch antenna is operated at about 2.45 GHz and about 5.4 GHz, good radiation pattern and antenna gain are obtained for being applicable to IEEE802.11b/g/a/j or Bluetooth specifications.

The third side is disposed opposite to the first side, and the split is positioned from the first side to the second side. An inverted-F antenna having a reinforced fixing structure is disclosed for benefiting antenna diversity. The inverted-F antenna is composed of a base board (such as a printed circuit board), a radiator and at least one supporting member each having a beveled fixing foot, wherein the shape of the radiator can be changed in accordance with various bending directions, such as a L shape, a U shape or a Z shape. The reinforced fixing structure of the inverted-F antenna further includes a dielectric material (such as foam adhesive) used for partially filling in the gap between the radiator and the base board, thereby reinforcing the strength of fixing each supporting member to the base board.

The shielded anechoic chamber includes a turntable, controlled by a control unit, for carrying a wireless communication device to be tested and for changing the reception azimuth of the device, thereby measuring the electric wave transceiving of the device.

A hybrid wireless network system is disclosed. The hybrid wireless network system includes an antenna array, an analog subsystem, and a digital subsystem. The antenna array at least includes two antenna elements. In the case of using multiple antenna elements to extend link range and coverage, a coarse-fine method is included for antenna elements selection. The analog subsystem calculates a difference signal and a sum signal based on the two RF signals. The analog subsystem includes step leveling devices. The digital subsystem estimates a direction-of-arrival (DOA) based on the sum signal and the difference signal. The step-leveling devices receive weights from the digital subsystem, in form of a feedback control, to apply the weights on the two RF signals respectively. The digital subsystem repetitively calculates new weights to update a beam pattern formed by the two RF signals until the DOA approaches null.

The present invention provides an antenna array structure which includes multiple array elements, and the antenna array structure is using for the application of the WLAN (wireless local area network) or WMAN (wireless metro area network.) Furthermore, the array elements of the present invention are phased arrays or attenuated arrays, and when configuration with different type of the array element is used, the corresponding BFN (beam forming network) can also be implemented in various possibilities. With all the configuration of the present invention, the manufacturers can have a stable array structure for their applications.
