Abstract: In one embodiment, a sensing apparatus having a first region with light transmittance less than a second region is provided. The sensing apparatus includes a first conductive layer, a color filter layer and a second conductive layer disposed on a substrate. The first conductive layer is located in the first region and includes first electrode patterns. The color filter layer covers the first conductive layer. The second conductive layer is disposed on the color filter layer and includes second electrode patterns. At least one of the second electrode patterns has a connection portion passing through the color filter layer to electrically connect to one of the first electrode patterns. The first electrode patterns and the second electrode patterns form first electrode series and second electrode series intersecting with the first electrode series. The connection portion is located at the intersection of one first electrode series and one second electrode series.

Abstract: An ambient light adjustment (ALA) apparatus, a method and a system therewith are proposed. The ALA apparatus includes a main body having a plurality of edges, one or more light sources, a light blocking layer and a controller. The light source is mounted on at least one edge of the ALA apparatus. The main body comprises at least one light guide plate. The light blocking layer is disposed over a surface of the main body. The controller is coupled to the light source and the light blocking layer. The ALA apparatus further comprises at least one sensor coupled to the controller. The controller controls the light characteristics of the light source and/or the light blockage levels of the light blocking layer to adjust ambient light characteristics, according to a sensed result by the sensor or sensors.

Abstract: A parallax correction method for a transparent display system is provided. The transparent display system includes a transparent display device located between a background object and a user. The parallax correction method includes the following steps. A gaze point is displayed on the transparent display device. An image including the transparent display device, the background object and the user is captured. At least two display anchor points and at least two corresponding background object anchor points are detected according to the image. The display anchor points are located on the transparent display device, and the background object anchor points are located on the background object. A plurality of visual extension lines extending from the display anchor points and the corresponding background object anchor points are obtained. An equivalent eye position of the ocular dominance of the user is obtained according an intersection of the visual extension lines.

An operation method of the transparent display system is also provided.

Abstract: An augmented reality (AR) device including at least one optical module is provided. Each of the at least one optical module sequentially includes a transparent display, a first lens, a second lens, and a third lens from a display side to an eye side. The first lens has a negative refractive power. The second lens has a negative refractive power. The third lens has a positive refractive power. The number of lenses of the optical module having refractive powers is three, wherein the transparent display of the optical module is configured to emit a light beam, and the light beam sequentially passes through the first lens, the second lens, and the third lens to be incident into a user's eyes at the eye side, so that an AR virtual image on the display side is seen by the eyes.
