Abstract: A method for multiple access point (AP) transmission is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a repetition beacon from each of a plurality of APs, each received repetition beacon comprising a common information part and an AP-specific information part; decoding at least a subset of the received common information parts to obtain a first parameter; decoding the received AP-specific information parts to obtain a second parameter for each of the plurality of APs; performing a calculation based on the first parameter, the obtained second parameters and a number of the plurality of APs to obtain a calculation result; and transmitting a feedback based on the calculation result to the plurality of AP.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for updating a sequence hopping (SH) pattern of an uplink channel during handover from a current cell having a current SH pattern. A method may include receiving, from a base station associated with current cell, a transmission including information indicating a handover command that instructs the WTRU to handover to a target cell. The handover command may include information indicating a SH enablement indication and a SH parameter. The SH enablement indication may indicate that SH is enabled for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission. A PUCCH transmission may be sent to a base station associated with the target cell, and the PUCCH transmission may include symbols derived from a sequence that is based on the SH parameter.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) for Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) using carrier aggregation is disclosed. In addition, methods for providing flexible configuration in signaling UCI, efficient resource utilization, and support for high volume UCI overhead in LTE-A are disclosed.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for supporting reference signals are disclosed. A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) is configured to receive a reference signal of a first type. The first type is other than a cell specific reference signal (CRS), an Multicast Broadcast Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) reference signal or a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS). Reference signals of the first type are received in resource elements other than resource elements used for a physical broadcast channel (PBCH), a primary synchronization signal or a secondary synchronization signal. The WTRU is configured to receive a radio resource control message indicating a subframe position in which the reference signal of the first type is transmitted and a periodicity of a transmission of the reference signal of the first type, and a number of antenna ports for a transmission of the reference signal of the first type.

Abstract: A method for reporting power headroom is disclosed. Power headroom may be reported across all carriers (wideband), for a specific carrier, or for a carrier group. The formula used to calculate the power headroom depends on whether the carrier (or a carrier in the carrier group) has a valid uplink grant. If the carrier or carrier group does not have a valid uplink grant, the power headroom may be calculated based on a reference grant. The power headroom is calculated by a wireless transmit/receive unit and is reported to an eNodeB.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting using beam are disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may transmit a first physical random access channel (PRACH) preamble to a base station using a first beam at a first power level. The WTRU may receive an indication that the first PRACH preamble was received by the base station. If the indication was received, the WTRU may transmit data. If the indication was not received, the WTRU may select the first beam or a second beam to use for a second PRACH preamble. Further, the first and second beams may be different beams. If the first beam is selected, the WTRU may increase a transmission power level of the second PRACH preamble by a first power ramp step. If the second beam is selected, the WTRU may not increase the transmission power level of the second PRACH preamble by the first power ramp step.
